My daughter just got hired at this store, it's her first job and this is the place she picked because she said she feels the... most comfortable there with her anxiety. She felt (as I also do) that the staff seemed really kind and caring and noticed howthey really try to give people a chance (they work with special ed as well). This speaks volumes to me both as a mom and acustomer. As a customer, I also really like their store, it is clean, well kept, and I love their deli and salad bar. I sawsomeone complaining that they had to bag their own groceries....personally, I like bagging my own groceries, but they just hireda bunch of kids (my daughter being one of them) to help out with bagging, so to that customer who complained--help is on theway! This is the first time I've been to this place since a LONG time ago when they were located downtown. This is one of the nicest... grocery stores I've been in a long time from a unique and design perspective. I grew up in Aberdeen, SD and our local grocerystore is the best I've seen and this is a very close second. I came here specifically for the tiger meat. I love that and theonly other place I've gotten it was in Aberdeen. Kudos to the store designers, owners, and management. This is a wonderfulplace to visit and shop. While we didn't eat here, the deli, bakery, and meat area were awesome. I think I will come backagain to spend more time here! :) If you haven't visited this place, be sure to add it to your bucket list. Read more
Never planning to go back. Was completely mishandled at a register when the register stopped working. I had to take charge of... the situation as the reps weren't capable. So bummed I picked here for my family of 4 shopping trip that I was really lookingforward to doing today. Spent $450 and regret every dollar. Read more
Been there 3 times now with over $200 in groceries and they told me to bag my own groceries. I get it at discount grocers but... Mackenthuns is premium full service. Would avoid going forward Read more

First time 5/11/22!! Never been to this location before! I have been to the Montgomery store last Nov 2021 But this store really... impressed me! They smoke the meats inhouse in the meat dept.. make deli salads and everything in deli from scratch and made fromscratch bakery as well!!! Love everything they offer! Have a great gifts and floral area too.. Has a Caribou coffee and has apharmacy. This store has a real sense of community!! Everyone so friendly at this store!! I will stop in again and shop and givethem business they been in the business for a long time!! If you haven't been here what are you waiting for? I can't say how much I appreciate Mack's! They are very involved with the community. Customer service is on point. As well as... great variety in all foods! However I must say I am mostly pleased with the cake bakers work and wish I gotten their name. Iordered a cake over the phone. Going for a "Five nights Freddy's theme". Gave them some color ideas and needed it to be"Spooky". They did not disappoint! Super pleased! Thanks so much for awesome creativity with not much to go on! Read more
