Seemed like an LGBTQ friendly place, hope it actually is! Friendly staff. Food was nuts. I didn't take any pictures as we... devoured our food. The double turkey was so flavourful and very filling. Great bread. Great cheeseburger, I love havingoptions for cheese, cook on burger, and toppings. The strawberry cream pie was very tasty. Tasted like real fruit and cream, flaky pastry. The vanilla shake was light on the vanilla but such a light sweetness that I didn't complain. Very thick andrich. Fries were great. One of our fries wasn't supposed to have cheese on it and there was, but my partner didn't need me togo back in to correct it. We were very impressed and look forward to coming back. Read more

Easily one of the best burgers I have had in decades. I am so glad I found this place while passing through Waco. The... Whizzbang fries are awesome as well. Deducted one star because the chocolate shake was not very good. Strange tastingchocolate. Read more

This is one of the best burgers I?ve had in a long while. First time here so we played it safe. Cheese burgers all the way. My... wife got onion rings and I tried the Whizzbanged fries. Burger was old school and dripping. The good way though. Not the soggybun greasy. Onion rings were stellar and the whizzbanged fries were a pleasant change from traditional fries. Onions, secretsauce, cheese, and bacon. Out of this world. The only critique, which is trivial and minor, the tea wasn?t great but it wasstill good for a hot day. One of the best parts of this place was the sweet lady who took our order. Nicest lady ever. Shesaved us from ordering way too much. Had we ordered our original order, we would have been whizzbang wasted. She deserves araise and extra vacation days. We will be back without hesitation. Read more

I am a burger junkie and the whiz pig is my favorite burger of all time. I've made the drive from Austin and from Dallas just... have this burger. The staff is super friendly no matter which location you go to!! The staff at union hall location went aboveand beyond to package up some to go burgers for me to take back to my family in Dallas and made sure they'd still be good when Igot home. Cannot recommend enough. Read more

We went to the original Whizzbang's for a quick burger and tots. My cheeseburger was served quickly during a Friday lunch rush.... It was very good with a soft, toasted bun; a tender, well seasoned patty, great beef to bun ratio. An all-around tasty treat. Not a pretty one, as you can see, but if you're eating a cheeseburger for its looks, you're probably missing out. Well worth thedrive, get this! Read more

Meat was super dry and almost burnt. Note tonowner..Don't use hard cheese on your whizzbanged fried. Your liquid stuff would be... best. Couldn't separate the fries and they appeared to have sitting. Love the old throw back look...but burger was ok Read more

Stopped by on the strength of the reviews. Was not disappointed. Tried the regular burger and it was so flavorful and the... perfect size. Everything was so fresh and made to order. Added some Tots and Whizzbanged them. That pushed them over the top.Could have been an entree all by themselves. Made me wish I'd gotten some more Whizzbang sauce for my burger. Definitely comingback. Read more

I was undoubtedly excited to try this place, as it was mentioned to be one of the top 10 places to eat in Waco. BUT, I wanted to... whizz outta' there, and bang my head against the table, for going out of my way to try this place. I don't normally bash arestaurant but this place was Trash. Don't get me wrong, the service was A+ excellent, and price was reasonable. The food on theother hand was a letdown. The patty had a funky taste of ground "beef", hotdogs, and dirty sock. (Don't ask.) I got a regularpatty and a whizzpig and both tasted off. They said the whizzpig would be "a little pink" because it had bacon, but the darnthing looked like they slid it across the grill, threw it on a bun and called it good. (Mind you, I eat my steak rare.) This wasraw in my book. Me nor my wife could finish them because they were so chewy and under cooked. When we ordered a second patty(just the patty) they charged me for a whole burger. The reasoning was because, "that's the only way they could make a profit."Then they told us if we would have ordered it with our first order we would have only been charged $2. Last of all the drinkmachine look like a science project with so much mold growing in it. The dispensing levers would stick also a sign of poorcleaning, and then i saw flakes of crud falling in my drink, i immediately stopped my wife from drinking hers and tossed it. Butdon't worry they have bottled drinks as a excuse for those of us who like our beverages foreign substance free. I know somefountain drink dispensers have below standard cleanliness but when it's literally falling in the drink that's where I draw theline. Read more
