First time with Jamaican cuisine. It was excellent! I had the Curried Chicken with Steamed Vegetables, Rice and Plantains. Very... favorable with a bit of a kick. The Pineapple Ginger drink was perfect. For dessert I had the delicious Bread Pudding. The ownerwas very helpful and a really nice guy! Read more

I ordered the curry goat and pineapple ginger drink. The portion was enough for me to have leftovers and they warmed up nicely.... Customer service was EXCELLENT. We were greeted when we entered and he was very ATTENTIVE to our table once we ordered our food. The pineapple ginger drink was new for me but it was AMAZING! The goat was tender, the plantains were ripe and the rice and peashad a lil kick to it (spice). The flavors complemented each other. Coming back for sure! Read more

So happy to found this gem! The food was delicious and the service outstanding. We tried the red snapper and curry goat. Both... incredibly flavorful and delicious. The goat was very tender. A bit spicy, but I like spicy! The sorrel drink was refreshing. Mysister loves the rum cake, but my favorite was the sweet potato cake. It?s autumn on a plate. Will certainly return for more! We were traveling through to meet family we haven't seen in some time and wanted something different that we can't just get... anywhere else and boy did they deliver! Not only was the food fantastic but the service was top notch! I loved the goat andeveryone else deeply enjoyed their dishes as well! This will be a common stop when we come through the area! The Sorrel Gingerdrink is off the chain! The photographer was fun and engaging, a great experience all the way around! Read more

The food was absolutely delicious. Spices were very flavorful and just enough heat in the food. I loved the Scotch bonnet hot... sauce for some extra kick. The sorrel ginger drink was herbal, sweet with a fresh ginger finish. So glad that we saw this placeand stopped. Read more

This place came recommended by family, and it did not disappoint. It is off the beaten path but well worth the effort. We... split ox tails, curry chicken and Jerk Shrimp. The fried plantains and Caribbean rice were awesome too! So nice to haveauthentic Caribbean food in central Texas. Read more

While traveling through Texas we stopped by this restaurant to grab dinner. We were pleasantly surprised to find this delicious... hole in a wall in Waco serving Caribbean cuisine. We ordered the Coco bread, Jamaican beef patty, oxtails, curry goat, the sweetpotato cake for dessert and the pineapple ginger drink. My kids scarfed the food down so fast as if I hadn?t fed them in a week!It was that good. Our order taker/waiter was super kind and very attentive, stopping by frequently to check on us and make surethat we were really enjoying our food. When he saw how much we were enjoying our food he was excited for us to try other thingsand gave us a cup of their sorrel drink. Everything we ate was so delicious and the oxtails were our family?s favorite thingthat we ordered. The vegetables on the side were so simple yet delicious even my son who doesn?t like vegetables said he likedthem. If we lived closer we would totally make this one of our staple restaurants.
