Had to delete my last review I?m absolutely sure I got them on a bad day which is understandable because I see it gets super... busy and working in this type of industry can get frustrating at times. Came with my boyfriend and the food was delicious niceand hot and the customer service from who I think is the owner and cooks the food was amazing . My wait time was reasonable, sometimes they might take longer but I know that?s because they are making good food with each order. It?s worth the wait for me???? ???? definitely my go to spot now Read more

The owner is super cool and has no problem explaining any of the items on the menu and can give good recommendations. The... marsala chai is fresh made with lots of ginger that makes it just a touch spicy, I generally like mine with less sugar but Istill would recommend getting it! The mango lassie is really good and they have more flavors to choose from! The restaurant isvery nice, i love the front patio with a great view of the historic court house. there is a really neat mural going towards theback of the restaurant that looks like you are stepping back into another time and place. The Indian styled door is a uniquemural and the touches give the place a modern meets historically traditional in the little town of Waco. I love it! The patio ispet friendly Read more

I used to come here all the time and it was one of the best places to eat in Waco, what happened??? They were out out of all... their cold drinks, out of several dishes, they'd stopped offering some of their dishes (but left them on the menu), and neitherof the guys working knew how to make Masala chai tea. The mango lassi is nothing like it used to taste. Food quality is stillhigh, and portions are large, but it took 39 minutes to get after ordering; it never used to take so long! And I watched asother people came in, ordered after me, but got their food before me! And no, that was not someone picking up an online order.Worst of all, I got really bad food poisoning immediately after eating here and spent the rest of the day in a bathroom. Pleaseupdate your menu, train your staff better, and do something about running out of ingredients. I used to love coming here but nowit just makes me sad ???? Read more

3rd time Ive been here. First was good but a tad slow. 2nd didn?t eat because cashier told us it?d be at least an hour wait,... though there was maybe 2-3 other parties in the entire place. 3rd we waited an hour during lunch for a salad and curry. Pictureattached of how empty the place was. Food was delicious and cashier was nice, though we were given no reason for the slow food.Seemed like the owner made the food, but didn?t apologize or say anything to us directly. Read more

Rather slow cooking speed with just okay service. I'm not sure if I'd go back but the food tasted pretty decent. I was burping... it up half the day afterwards though, which makes me think something was a tad old. Read more

I have been wanting Indian food for a while and this place satisfied my craving for it. I had unlucky timing since they were... restocking for lamb when I got there. Everything was made to order even the naan. The staff member was respectful and showedpride in cooking his naan. Later found out his position is to handle the cash register and the cook on shift was busy preppingfood for dinner. The staff member was gonna finally eat his lunch but took priority of the customer to order and eat their food.Definitely coming back to try the lamb and enjoy good hospitality. Read more

Not the best for almost $30. I ordered kabobs, basically burnt chicken with peppers, onions and carrots on a bed of rice with... charred pieces. I ordered jalapeño paneer for $4.50 and didn?t get it. I got two small pieces of naan without any cheese orjalapeños. The only thing good was the pakora. Read more
