THIS IS THE MOST DELICIOUS MAC & CHEESE I?VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! I highly recommend this place! I?m from Colorado, and I first... heard of Roni?s about 6 months ago, after seeing viral videos on Tik Tok. When I had the opportunity to travel to Waco for thefirst time for a conference, I knew I had to stop at Roni?s. I can confirm? it really is worth all the hype! I got the Texas BBQmac and cheese with pepper Jack sauce, brisket, BBQ sauce and jalapeños. Amazing! So delicious. Through no fault of therestaurant, just beware that parking can be hard to find because it is located in ?Union Hall? which I can only describe as anupscale, fun, food court with small business and local vendor selections. Which means if you?re traveling with others and theydon?t want mac and cheese they can easily visit other vendors (which range anywhere from pizza, to burgers, to pasta, toChinese, salads, pie, cookie dough, coffee, tea, milkshakes, and more). Service was quick and I took mine to go but there?s alsoseating areas nearby. They do have some vegetarian options but it did not seem as if they had any vegan or gluten free options(which is just fine for me? but may be a deal breaker for others). I recommend skipping the garlic bread though? it?s not badbut it?s also not that special. OMG!! I saw them on my tiktok fyp a few months back! My family and I took a trip up to DFW and I MADE them stop on the way back... home through Waco just to try it. They DID NOT disappoint. Not a lot of places have Mac and cheese on the go that isn?t just a small side. Found this place on tik tok a while ago and... finally had a reason to drive past Waco so I made the detour. Was not disappointed at all and most definitely will be backwhenever I have another reason to drive that far down again. I decided to finally try this place after everyone kept saying it was amazing. However, I feel like it fell short of... expectations.\nFirst I\'ll say I got a build your own and got it with pepperjack mac and cheese and brisket plus several of theunlimited toppings.\nThe topping selection is very small, and I wish they had more options. With the limited toppings, I feelI\'d get bored quickly of eating there.\nThe brisket was really good and full of flavor, however... the Mac and cheese, theheart of the dish, missed the mark. It was cold and didn\'t have hardly any flavor. It also seemed to really lack any cheesesauce. What little sauce was on it had a little grainy texture to it.\nCurrently, I don\'t think I\'d go back. I love this place. You can customize your Mac and cheese. Isn?t that cool? The food is delicious. They cook fresh in front of... the customers so we can see that they do care a lot about sanitation.\nWe order 5 different types of Mac and cheese and all ofthem are AMAZING!!!!\n\nThe service is just as amazing as the food. I saw them in a tiktok about four months ago and knew immediately that we had to make it a stop on our road trip from Minnesota.... 10/10 definitely worth the decision!
