Great food, great staff, and a downtown Waco classic! They are our neighbors over at Stay Classy and we love sneaking over for... a bite to eat every now and then! The bread is fresh and warm, they have the best calamari in town, and the shrimp scampi isphenomenal. Highly recommended! Read more
If you are in Waco, visiting Portofino's is a MUST! Never in my travels have i visited a restaurant 2 days in a row. Day 1 I... had Joe's Garden Special, AMAZING!!! Day 2, I had Shrimp Scarparelli, WOW! The portions are over the top too. The servers, Shade& Sitina made this experience even better. So friendly! My family ate at Portofino?s during Baylor Family Weekend, and even though we experienced extremely slow service, we still... really enjoyed ourselves. The food tastes phenomenal. I highly recommend the eggplant parmigiana. Everyone loved theirfood. Again, they got really busy and service slowed down a lot. But, the waitstaff tried their best to keep up with the demandand, ultimately, we enjoyed eating here. We will come back! Read more
