The brisket was so tender and juicy I could cut with a fork. The pulled pork was just as tender and juicy. The coleslaw was... different than the ?midwest? version I am used to but undoubtedly the best coleslaw I?ve eaten! Definitely five stars foreverything I tasted and ate. Next time I visit Waco, I?ll definitely be back! Read more

Outstanding brisket! Surprisingly quiet when I stopped by Friday evening on Labor Day weekend. I hope the place gets more... business than what I saw because it would be a shame to lose it. Great service and atmosphere. Read more

Pleasantly surprised, there's a lot of barbecue places in Waco this is probably one of the better ones. Cheesy gritsyum, we... ordered one and went back for another order... Coleslaw was very unique I recommended. The chicken was sold out so we hadturkey, it was really good. Read more

Very good, we had Brisket (very tender and good flavor), Beans w/chopped brisket (reminded me of a very good chili, don't beat... me up for saying that), fries (nothing special except they were cooked perfectly), and potato salad (mashed potato salad, Ireally liked it). The downside was, the lady at the register seemed disappointed in "how little" we ordered, like we wereordering enough, and then when we were done we cleaned up our trays and I couldn't find a spot to leave them, so I walked themup to the kitchen, and handed them to one of the staff and she acted like I was committing an unforgivable sin, and I felt a bitlike she was scolding me by telling me next time to please just leave them on the table. So I would love to give 5? for thefood, but -1? for the lack of hospitality we are used to when visiting Texas. I was even going to compliment them on how goodthe food was, but after that it just seemed like it would have been a waste of time. Read more

Amazing BBQ! This place has been on our list to try for a while, took some friends here for the first time and we were all... presently surprised at the quality and service. The 4 of us got ?The Holy Feast? and we had leftovers. Loved all of the food. Read more

Finally paid a visit from San Antonio. The brisket was moist, smokey, tender and salty. Just right. The garlic sausage had a... little kick. Well worth stopping for BBQ goodness. Read more

Guess Family Barbecue was okay. We went here off the recommendation from Texas Monthly. There?s unique menu items you don?t... always see like Pimento Cheese Deviled Eggs topped with Brisket Jam. (Very yummy!) We also tried the hatch green chili Mac andCheese, and it wasn?t kind of a let down. The sausage was very delicious! BBQ sauce at the table, so super convenient. Servicewas very odd, the lady taking orders was kinda weird. It seemed as if she didn?t have to talk to us, she wouldn?t have. It wasour first time there so hopefully it?s not always like that. Our order was also missing a serving of sausage, but when we askedabout it they gave us the wrong one. Read more

I havnt tried them all, but so far, this is the best BBQ joint in Waco. Staff super friendly and food is very tasty. Brisket was... moist and tasty. The garlic sausage is better than the cheddar one. Mac and cheese is good. Potato salad is ok. Love the drinkchoices available. Place is super clean. Read more
