Margs are good. I?d advise to ask for an extra shot along with. If you get a flavored marg, ask for extra flavor/syrup. Queso... was below par, which is abnormal for El Con :( found an unmelted chunk of cheese in our ?cup?. Ordered the Chimichanga meal.Instead of ONE, there was three, smaller chimichangas, filled with nothing but ?shredded? chicken. No seasoning other than asmall amount of salt & pepper thrown on, at best. (Tasted and smelled like canned chicken) no beans, no rice, no sauce within oron top of the mini chimichangas ?there was also couple of fork marks on one of the ?chimichangas?. I guess to check fordoneness? Literally was mini tortillas, wrapped around canned chicken? The Bellmead location is better. Got the check, tippedwell, and our waitress was nice, and did her best. This was my first time in, and overall, it was an alright experience. The service is decent, the atmosphere is really nice, but... to me, the food is not great. For the price, the portions are really good, but the food was almost flavorless to me. Notparticularly bad, but not great either. Been eating here over 15 years the enchiladas "my favorite" have stayed the same all these years.Only a couple places I know in... Waco that make them right "El Con" being my #1 pick.The food and service has always been excellent...Family owned and alwaysmake you feel right at home..great job???? Read more

James was our server and he was great! Friendly and family atmosphere, delicious and authentic food. Great place to have a party... with large indoor dining. Food is very reasonably priced so make sure to get some sopapillas after your meal! Highly recommend! Read more

Had an birthday gathering. They were accommodating to our large group so that is always nice. I ordered the beef fajitas for... one. Although the Meat was tender, not very flavorful. Strawberry margaritas were decent. Our server handled the large groupwith great service. Queso was a little watery to for my taste. Free chips and salsa are always a plus.
