Came back here after several years of being out of town and was pretty disappointed, it seems the pandemic has hit DD pretty... hard for staff. They were not busy when we arrived, however almost everything on the buffet was either empty or looked like it'dbeen sitting there for awhile. In the hour we were there, the pizza rolls -- which were definitely the most popular item amongwho was there -- were only refilled once. All the napkin holders were empty, the bathroom was out of both soap and paper towels.The food, at least when it eventually came out, was delicious, though. Read more
We came for lunch on a Sunday. It wasn?t crowded, but many of the tables had not been bussed. There were no clean forks, no... napkins and not very much pizza to choose from. They never replenished the pizza the entire time we were there and there was nodessert pizza at all. And let?s be honest, the reason to come to DD is the chocolate chip pizza. I?ve been here several times. Every time I go it gets worse. This time was the worse. If I could give them a zero I would. The... visit was horrible. Hardly no pizza at 12:30 on a Sunday afternoon. What pizza they had was dried out. Dead crickets on thefloor. Only two workers working and a what looked like a third was a sick worker sleeping in a booth. Our first experience was to bad, just didn?t care for the options. It also tasted weird. There?s better pizza options in Waco!... There was like 3/4 options( also it?s a Sunday) I wouldn?t even order to go because the taste was just off. But the salad!! Itwas so goooddd!!!! Read more
First I?m coming here and I had to recommend everyone to stop by and get the buffet during the lunch time. Everything served was... fresh hot very soft pizza and had amazing taste. The dessert was also amazing. The staff was very nice.highly recommend pizzalovers to try it out! By the way it was my first time here! I love it! Oh yeah there was a salad bar too!. Read more
Ordered delivery and when we got the food the pizza topping literally just fell off. The middle was soggy and the stuffed... pepperoni bread sticks were hard and didn?t seem like there was any cheese in them. So not worth $44!!!! Read more
We were the only customers in the restaurant. No one cleaned these tables the entire time we were there. Floor dirty, table... sticky. Loud music that was thankfully turned off. Really disappointing. We?ve always liked DD. The meatball sandwiches werepretty good and the only reason I?m giving a star. We will go to Round Rock for DD and get our pizza in Waco elsewhere. Read more
Awesome customers service. Came at closing time but still gave us great service with a smile and great pizza like usual.
