Went in this morning everything was perfect. From our waiters service to our prompt refills. I said no when asked for chips... refills, but waiter brought some anyways! (Which was a good call we did eat them) . Ordered the chicken flautas and everythingwas amazing. Will definitely go back again soon! Read more
Arrived at the door to a shock of 30.06 & 30.07 posted. Walked in and it took a couple of minutes to be seated at a dirty table,... by a less than enthusiastic host who would have made Houdini proud with how fast he disappeared. A couple of minutes later chipsand salsa arrived. While waiting five or so minutes for our server, we noticed the majority of servers on the south side ofrestaurant standing around and joking. After we ordered drinks and our food, we didn’t see our server again until the food wasready, as she was one of a couple of servers running themselves into the ground waiting on multiple tables, and the managerlacking in concern for everything going on. My food was good in flavor and slightly lacking in presentation. The rice was lessthan desirable though. The beans were wonderful along with the beef soft taco. After we finished eating, it took around 10minutes before we were able to get our check and another 10 to get it paid. Overall plain, horrible experience. Read more
I have visited Don Carlos a few times in the past, like 7 years ago. I came back a couple of weeks and found out it wasn't... anything special, just like in the past. Their prices seem to haves jumped up, and they took forever to bring our food out, theserver was attentive but kept apologizing for the food not coming out. Our family parrillada didn't taste all that good, tasteslike it was cooked with burnt oil, their hot sauce is not spicy at all. It will probably take me another 7 years to give thisplace a try again. We enjoyed our drinks and chips and salsa were so good. The food was plenty and it was ok. Service was great too!
Group of 9 people stopped in for lunch. The parking is ample and it was not crowded. Complimentary chips and salsa are served... warm (tasty!) and adult beverages are available. Margaritas were good. They have a large menu and offer a daily weekday luncheonspecial. Off the regular menu I had the Dos Amigos plate..which is 2 cheese enchiladas, rice and beans. Others had the Chickenenchilada plate, and the Chili Relleno plate. Food was good but not exceptional. Prices are reasonable, as well. The problemis that the service was poor. Took about a half hour to get the lunch entrees, and almost as long to process our tabs. Yes, wewere a group of nine, but this was noteworthy. Unfortunately, since otherwise not a bad meal. Read more
It was okay but the food was rather undesirable. the service was great nice faces and the food was fast paying was fast, but the... food did not sit right it may just be me but it was kinda nasty and weird for my liking. Read more
The chicken fajita chimichanga was delish!! The salsa was just the right heat and the chips were great. The meat on the brisket... nachos tasted off somehow so won’t order those again. A little pricey. Read more
This is the first time I've been to this restaurant, I ordered a quesadilla that was huge but very good, our waiter was very... nice and quick. I ordered a bloody Mary It could have been a bit better for the price. Other than that it was decent. Read more
