My co-worker and myself tried to order food to be delivered but the order would not go through on the website, we even tried to... change it to carry out. When we called to place the order, the employee said they were fully booked and could not take ourorder. He said they could only take it if we paid over the phone. I told him we could pay over the phone, but he told me no hecouldn't take the order because there was a line outside the door and to try grubhub or another delivery service. I understandthe issues with being short staffed, but it was a bit of a shock when we couldn't place an order over the phone, and because wecouldn't order online or over the phone, we took our business elsewhere. Visired this location a few weeks ago during family vacation. To keep it short... The person taking our order was very polite... and professional. The other 2 employees were rude to not only our group but also to the couple behind us. Our orders were messedup twice and upon bringing it to their attention,said 2 employees were very rude. I've eaten here before and it was great, but this last visit was very disappointing. The worker was on a call on his personal... phone for starters, I ordered two sandwiches- a sliced brisket sandwich and a jalapeño kielbasa sausage sandwich. My brisketsandwich bun was saturated with whatever oil is used to toast the buns which was not toasted - he then hacked up my brisket tolike mush, My sausage sandwich was even worse, the sausage itself was barely warm. First time coming here and the first thing I did was get great service. The restaurant was clean and the owners were very... friendly and welcoming. The food was so good I liked the self serving of bbq sauce???? and the pulled pork sandwich was veryfilling and the potato salad and waffle fries were delish. Thank you will be back soon! Read more
It wouldn?t let me do a second review so I?m going to update my original. I?ve worked long crazy hours lately and haven?t been... able to pick up my orders in person lately so I?ve been using Uber eats and my order from today was just amazing. Hot and theperfect amount of toppings with melted gooey cheese. These new owners and staff are really hitting it out of the park. Thankyou So much Dickeys!! I stopped by a few days ago to grab lunch for work. The new owner and manager were there, they were bothsuper super nice and helpful. I always get a giant baker with meat that is my favorite thing from here but in the past they weredifficult to get and if I could get them they were missing half the toppings and half cooked and hard or just not fresh at all.This new owner is wanting to make it better here and they are doing a great job so far my potato was fresh hot and fully loaded.I will definitely be back. Not too bad for my first time eating from this BBQ chain. I had the 3 meat plate, requested pulled pork(dry as can be, not of... good flavor, so I didn't even bother to eat it), brisket(way too greasy and sooooo much fat, yet tender) and original sausage(nocomplaints there). For the sides i had baked potato casserole(amazingly great tasting, not too loaded and hardly any congestionof salt) and mac and cheese(didn't even get to est it based on the pic so I cannot comment on it). For dessert, pecan pie(soggy,the crust is literally breading and it tasted heavily like coffee). Can't say I'll give them my business again, the price wasn'ttoo bad($19 for my meal) but I will truly have to be super annoyingly hungry to try this place again. My quest for the best BBQin CTX continues. On to the next.... UPDATE: Decided to give them a 2nd chance for their service and food quality. I order thesame as last time, a 3 meat plate, this time, I was heavily disappointed. The pic of only brisket and sausage is the new picthat literally shows my order is and wasn't a 3 meat order! Definitely not giving them my business anymore!! Also taking onestar away as I was heavily disappointed at the meal as it was not what I expected, especially not for no $19!!!
