We were looking for somewhere to eat that wasn't a chain. When we first pulled up, it wasn't very busy. I wondered if that might... be a sign of the quality. Food and service were great. By the time we left, the place was nearly full. I guess we just got thereas the dinner rush was about to start. I got the Steak Philly sandwich and fries. It was good. The only thing I think mightwould make it better is maybe adding a little garlic mayonnaise. I thought the fries were really good and were light and crispy.My husband got the southwest chicken with greens, fried okra and a side of tater tots. We thought the barbecue sauce on thechicken was a little too sweet. The okra was about the same as you would get at Cracker Barrel. My husband says the greens werebetter than Cracker Barrel. The tater tots were perfectly crispy on the outside. On the way out we saw several people with thecatfish dinner. It looked really good. I might try that if I'm ever back that way. Read more

We were traveling into town to see where our MasterCraft boat was made and stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. Food... outstanding and homemade, service superb, atmosphere fantastic. Best chicken salad on a croissant I have had in a very longtime. My husbands Philly cheesesteak seasoned with peppers, onions and mushroom also tasty. Everything is fresh and made withcare. Read more
