Would give 0 if I could. Me and one other customer in store. I ordered a nacho and a quesadilla. 30 min this order took while... employees laughed and joked in the back. No one apologized for wait or even acknowledged we were in the store after placing theorder. On top of waiting for no reason besides laziness, the food was made incorrectly,Not one of their better run stores. Read more

Our family has been dining weekly at this location since it opened. Things have changed in negative ways and we will probably... not continue eating here. For years they had an older gentleman managing this location, but since he left things have soured. We ate here last night and told the guy taking our order that we did not want any cheese on anything due to our lactoseintolerance issues. When the order arrived, there was cheese on everything! When we pointed this out the guy just said "sorryabout that" and went on to the next customer. No offer to make it right. On top of that, the restroom was filthy, the floorssticky, the tables had not been wiped clean and there was trash everywhere. We borrowed their rag and cleaning just one tableturned it black. Love Rubios but didn?t love this location. Stopped in for a taco this Sunday evening. The place was empty with 4 employees in... the kitchen and one at the register (so adequately staffed). Garbage was overflowing, napkins were empty, I was not asked if Iwanted any salsa, and the bathroom was filthy and stunk of urine. My taco had barely any fish in it - just a ton of overcookedbreading. Not my favorite Rubios location. Read more

I can see why there are so many 1-star reviews lately. I have been going to this Vista location for nearly 20 years and it has... never been this bad. This time they refused to take my phone order. When I went in the store it took nearly 30 minutes whichused to take 5. The staff seem like they're zoned out and have no customer service etiquette. The order was not the same qualityor quantity as it used to be, and the sauce was wrong (not even sure what it was but not chipotle). Prices are higher butproduct is poorer. I don't see how they will stay in business at this rate. Too bad.... Read more
