I really hate to leave a negative review, because I really love the subs, but management needs a wake up call. I placed on... online order with specific parameters (I removed a topping because of allergies). I picked it up (after waiting, despite placingan online order to avoid waiting) and got it back to my office. Well, lo and behold, the forbidden topping is on the sandwich. Icalled the store and requested a solution. Zero's explained that I have to return the sandwich to get a refund/remade sandwichthat I can't eat because of an allergy. I get it. I'm sure people try to scam restaurants. Normally, this wouldn't be a problemBUT..... I've used my lunch break so I can't go back today to get my sub remade and there is no refrigeration for me to keep itovernight and take it back tomorrow. So my options are (through Rachel from her manager Carrie) 1. let it sit out overnight inmy office and bring it back tomorrow (nope) or 2. absorb the cost of Zero's mistake DESPITE respectfully requesting anothersolution. Rachel helpfully offered to bring a new order over to my work, but I'm not within walking distance. I get thereluctance to refund/replace without proof I didn't eat the sub, but there has to be some workaround to this. You're holding mymoney (and lunch) hostage because of your mistake and my inability to travel back to your location for you to fix it. Read more
Update: Best sub shop in Virginia Beach! Tasty subs, convenient, friendly staff.
Great place. And they have pellet ice for the drinks.
I just came in and ordered a whole Philly steak and cheese, and they only made half and when they called ?whole Philly steak and... cheese? and handed me a half hoping I wouldn?t notice or care I guess?? And I said what?s this and they said ?..half? so why lieto me?? Read more
Nimmo location has terrible service from kids. There again today and waited 24 min for a sub after they sent several others out... before me the foreign guy finally pulls it off the oven where it had been sitting for 15 min. Worst service around for a zeros.With kids and phones , we may as well make our own food! Read more
Very friendly ppl but that tuna sub needs some work. It?s bland and watery. Maybe add some relish and a dash of salt n pepper,... but drain the juice off the tuna first. Through that $6 away. Lol Read more
Love Zero's oven toasted subs, been eating there since high school in the 70's, when I would leave my job making subs at Mr.... Jim's at 25th St. in Va Beach to walk 3 blocks to the original Zero's at 21st street. Each restaurant is independently owned.The two best ones are the one on Holland Rd. and the one on Nimmo Pwy near the courthouse. Read more
They make the best sandwiches!!! Love this place ?? I can see why they get busy, they're the best Zeros.
