Worth the walk a couple of blocks inland from the beach for the modern atmosphere and above-average lunch fare. Also includes a... small market. The sandwiches are served on oversized bread, and cut in half. It's enough to share if you're not too hungry. Thechicken salad is very good. In place of the yucky, sweet craisins that are so popular in "gourmet" chicken salad, it ispunctuated with delicious, savory bacon. Wonderful! They also have coffee, but nothing fancy that requires an espresso machine.They do not serve breakfast, but they're open early for lunch at 10 am. Flavors are really good and they do offer gluten free rolls as a sub. My roll was stone cold though, like right out of the... refrigerator and stiff. It broke into crumbs when I bit into it. It's probably really good room temp or warm, though didn'thave much flavor cold. The Virginia ham was really good, as we're the chicken and potato salads. Service was very good. Theyonly offer gf rolls, no other gf baked goods. They carry some candies and snacks that are gf. There is no indication that thesandwich meats and fillings are actually gf. Read more

Great small store restaurant, good sandwiches and the variety of wines are good. the only thing I would add to the on tap wines... is SANGRIA.
