Negative 3 stars. Went there with three people working. The order had been put in online 15 minutes ahead of time. I walked in... and one was on the phone, another was talking to a friend. There were 2 people in line. Once I finally got their attention, theyinformed me they just now saw the order. One continued his conversation on the phone. I placed an order through a delivery company for my food from this location and I wonder if I should have gotten it myself. I... asked for Multigrain Bread and got Herbs and cheese. You don't go to Subway for the menu, you go to ease your hunger, not much has significantly changed. The young man that took my... order was polite and pleasant. My son made his selections and the young man was patient, listened, and provided exactly what anindecisive 8 yr old could asked for. I gave 1 star only because it was impossible to give zero stars. The employees are SO RUDE! This was the third visit in the... past few months and all 3 visits have been unpleasant. Subway has always been a family favorite for food fast but I will NOT begiving this location another try. During the first, it was not long after reopening from Covid-19 closures and the employeeswere very rude, acted like I was bothering them by being there and they were complaining the entire time I was there aboutHAVING to return to work and they shouldn't even HAVE to be there. "Nobody else is working". I figured they were just having arough day. We all do sometimes. No ok but.... The 2nd, two weeks later. The same thing, only this time it seemed like I was theonly one being treated differently. I hadn't even spoken when one employee frowned and said to the other "Uh uh, this one'syours". I didn't want to think it was my skin color because I just don't think that way. The problem is, I WAS the only whiteperson in the building and the only one beingspoken to in a completelydifferentwa. Then this visit...my daughter has been askingfor subway for days. I said yes because she has been through A LOT lately. I walked in and before I could even get to thecounter to order the employee shouted out to another "Oh no, uh uh. We be done. We be trying a close". It wasn't after closingtime yet so I stood for a moment confused. Then as she turned to the black customer in front of me and spoke to him politely,she turned back to me and said "we ain't tryin ta do this". I wasn't sure what "this" was. ??? I looked at the other employeewho just looked at me with a bit of a shocked look. I decided that I was done. I didn't say anything to anyone. I just left. Iwill NEVER go there again. The Holland Road Subway in the Kroger shopping center is the best. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Plus the bread and... food was fresh and delicious. I have a Subway across from my house but I will drive the extra 9 miles to go to this Subway. Theatmosphere is a lot more pleasant and the staff actually knows what they are doing. Read more
