This is a nice big Starbucks with plenty of seating. Employees are pleasant and we were greeted as we came through the door. ... Baristas are fast and the bathrooms are clean. Great service, every time I come in the baristas are talking to everyone in the line and making them feel welcome. Very... comfortable atmosphere! Went to Laskin Rd Virginia Beach location today at 11:45am, ordered a $4 hot latte coffee, no sugar to add, so asked for 1 sugar... at counter, told no sugars left in the store, completely out. Strange for a coffee shop to sell coffee without being able tooffer sugar. Would be nice to inform customers prior to ordering or if they had put up a sign. Won?t go back to that one. Read more
I?m sure this is a great place but I felt attacked, as soon as I walked in the cashier/barista that ended up helping me made eye... contact with me and whispered in the other cashiers ear. This isn?t middle school it?s a professional establishment. When theythought I walked away they mention how I ?had to be special? when in all honestly I just didn?t know what I wanted because theydidn?t have what I intended to get. This is a nice Starbucks with small, convenient sitting area outside. Service was fast, but could have been a bit more friendly.... The guy working behind the counter seemed a little bit aggravated to be at work today. I left satisfied with my coffee andpumpkin loaf. This Starbucks has a fireplace! They also have a little library with some great books to read by the fire. It definitely doesn?t... feel like the typical starbucks, more like a pops and mops cafe. It?s a very cozy and clean environment. The music is not tooloud and ultimately the staff are so friendly and polite. Highly recommend this starbucks to anyone! Read more
I wouldn't want to spend my hours out of the office anywhere else. Whenever I am at this location, I forget it's Starbucks. It... reminds me of the show Cheers as well as any mom and pop café as it has the warmth of a neighborhood location. Walter makesthe best drinks and the rest of the staff is completely friendly! One of my favorite Starbucks! I go to this one by my work instead of the one by my house because they?re always so sweet. I... apparently get coffee too much as some of them remember my order and even my name. ?Rich? has to be one of the nicest people, hemakes me smile every time. The manager is amazing, very kind to the customers AND his employees which speaks loudly about him asa human and as a boss. I wanted to make sure to put a 5 star because these workers deserve it.
