Smokin Joe's is a classic food-truck/trailer style BBQ. As they're a relatively small operation, they didn't have everything,... but we wanted brisket and they delivered. So juicy and flavorful, and fairly priced to boot. If you want a great brisketsandwich this is the place to go! Read more

Wonderful customer service, very personable! Food is outstanding! I ordered the brisket and pulled pork. Also had the vole... slaw and baked beans. Everything was great! I really hope this place grows and is around for a long, long while! Read more

First time checking out this newer food truck that opened up in late Spring. If you knew where Bite of Maine had their trailer... it's the identical spot. I enjoyed my experience, but will not rush back. Located in the Marina Shores parking lot in front ofthe hardware store. There is plenty of parking around and the lot was clear. The area in front of the truck had huge greasestains which not only looked unappealing, but is something you don't want on your shoes. Also when I arrived no table and chairswere set up, they did provide one for me prior to my meal arriving and that was appreciated. I did see chairs stacked up. Alsono umbrellas, or tents and it was blazing hot! I am sure they are still working this out. I only saw one trash can and it wasfull and tiny. Owner Scott was on hand to run down the menu and make suggestions. He was super friendly and helpful. On a 90+degree smoking meat all day is an intense occupation. He describe the pulled pork as smoked for 12 hours and provided a sample. It was super! I also tried the brisket which had the correct texture, but no pop for me without a sauce added. I ordered thepulled pork sandwich combo with two sides of baked beans and potato salad. Scott informed me that the bread is coming from a newlocal bakery named Toscano on the boulevard at the beach. Bottled drinks are available. The price point is not cheap, butquality meat and bread is worth it. Scott informed me that he has been smoking meats for ten years. My order came out withinminutes served in styrofoam. The sandwich was mammoth, a half pound I'm guessing. Sauces are provided and you can get slaw. Iate mine virgin and enjoyed. The temperature was hot and the bun magnificent. The taste was very good, I probably would try asauce next time. The sides were disappointing. The potato salad was fresh and utilized crispy red potatoes, but they lackedrichness and flavor. The bean good and straight forward, nothing special. This is a truck I will not ru Read more
