Good food but need to learn how to handle issue. We bit onto something hard from one of the pasta, and discovered it was a piece... of steel wool. It was probably from washing the pan/pot. It could had cut my mouth/tongue. Informed the server but shecouldn’t do anything about it. A man came to our table and smiling saying everything was good… we left after paying foreverything and tip. Owner is rude and curt. We had a mixup with our reservation. No one called us. When we arrived we were told our reservation was... canceled and we will not be seated. Further he stated he lost money because of us. I am italian live born and raised and this isnot a way to talk to customers. Outstanding Italian food, I had the spaghetti with clams, very delicious, almost the same taste than when I was in Italy, the... waitress was not so attentive, we sat at the bar, and the guy sitting next to us got her full attention, we were inexistent,but the owner came to the rescue and took good care of us. NO KIDS allowed even though it is not stated on their website . I previously dined at this location with my whole family. 2... children were part of the dinner party and sat down on our laps because they did not own high chairs. Today we were going tomake another reservation and the owner informed us that the children (who sat the whole time and ate their food quietly)misbehaved and certain customers complained. There was NOTHING to complain about being that they were on our laps the wholetime. It was a shocking comment from the owner’s part. We feel that children are discriminated against at this location. Ifchildren are not allowed then we would have planned accordingly. A true Italian restaurant has good food but also knows theimportance of being all together with family , children and adults .
