Reviews for Shore Drive - ShoreBreak Pizza & TapHouse in Virginia Beach, VA
Fantastic atmosphere, great service, good food. Exactly what I was looking for.. the pizza was 3-4 meals in itself but was a... solid facsimile for Chicago-style deep dish. Pool tables were well taken care of.. they could have used a little more space toshoot but everyone was so relaxed and friendly that it didn’t effect the evening as a whole. I’ll definitely go back. It’sworth checking out for a relaxed evening. Read more
We chose to go to ShoreBreak for my birthday celebration, with my wife and mother in law; 100 yrs young. We really enjoyed our... dining experience. Food was tasty, fairly priced and service was very attentive. I ordered my Burger medium rare and it wasprepared just that way. Unlike many higher priced eateries the actually recognized my birthday and provided a complimentarydessert. Try it...you'll like it!!! Read more
Definitely call ahead for a reservation! We were told it would be 45 minutes but actually only waited about 35 minutes. Our... waitress Taylor was fantastic, very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. We went on Tuesday and it’s BOGOburgers (dine in only). I had the Shoreburger with Cheese and my friend had the farmhouse burger and both were fantastic. Westarted with the Wisconsin cheese curds for an app, highly recommend. Prices are pretty standard for the area, and food wasgreat quality. Read more
Was very pleased to find thus restaurant. Good food. Good portions. Reasonable prices. We ordered fish and the shrimp tacos. The... burger was also great. Great service. Good atmosphere. Better quality than the regular tourist destination restaurant. Willdefinitely stop by again when we visit VA Beach. Read more
Great service. Got my food delivered at the beach. Small serving on the lettuce wrap, but still good. Pizza was great. Slices... were really big though. We ordered the works ALL THE WAY and we enjoyed most of it. The middle was a little soggy, which wasexpected when you got your dough loaded all the way. We really loved the crust; it was crusty, chewy, and still easy almost softto bite. Recommended! Read more
To start, as far as the restaurant itself, the establishment was clean, spacious and had a great sports bar environment. This... eatery had pool tables and many TVs with sports which kept us entertained. However, these things sometimes don't outweigh othershort comings. Next, the food! The food was great, but their proportions are pretty small compared to their pricing and MANYother places we've eaten, even while on vacation. I submitted a picture of the Cheese Curds (awesome!). I received 2 small tacoswith Mahi for $14.99 (I expected 3 and menu didn't state how many) and then I was charged $3.50 for onion rings that weresuppose to be my side with meal but wasn't an upcharge on menu. My wife received the same meal and size and my son's meal waswings so his size meal doesn't count. I would consider their dinner size that of lunch proportions. The fountain drinks were$3.25, and another drink they sell for kids with a cheap plastic $0.75 shark in it cost $5.00 (sprite with a little blue raz init). The desserts were way undersized and overpriced as well. My son wanted a fudge brownie with ice cream etc, but wasdelivered a small underwhelming dessert that he finished in a mere few bites, but the dessert was $8.99. In conclusion, I haverated this restaurant a 3 out of 5 due to the fact of their proportion verse price ratio seemed lacking for my taste. Again, thefood was good, but not their price for the sizes. With a family, I'd recommend some place else unless this is a must eat placedue to time and convenience. At the end of the meal, I spent $96 ($80 bill and $16 tip) for 3 people to eat and not be full andwe are not BIG eaters. To say the least I expected more from an established restaurant like this but received far less. Goodluck and hope your experience is better if you decide to go. Read more
We met friends to watch football for our first visit. Our table afforded us views of numerous games, and we loved the variety... of food choices. Not just your typical bar food. I LOVED the Brussels Sprouts and the Asian Lettuce wraps! My husband enjoyedhis caesar salad, but was disappointed that all of the desserts revolved around ice cream. All in all, we had a greatexperience and would visit again. Read more
I ordered two pizzas and hot wings. Based on reviews, maybe my expectations were set too high. I did order to go (less than... 10 minutes from my house) and when I got there, the place was packed. It was a football Sunday and it seemed like it was a coolatmosphere. But I came for pizza and wings and was extremely disappointed. The cheese and sauce were lacking and FAR too muchcrust at the ends. The wings were not spicy at all, which I guess was a good thing because I requested ranch and was given bleucheese. $50 for two one topping pizza and ten wings, with a discount. I should have stuck with Gino's on General Booth. Willnot stray again. Read more
