The staff were very friendly and accommodating. From the host, to the server, to the manager coming around checking on everyone.... I just don’t think I will be coming back anytime soon. There is always a long wait to be seated. And the seating in thewaiting area is very uncomfortable. Then the seating at the table is also uncomfortable, along with it being very chilly in thedining area the last couple times I’ve been. And my food wasn’t even that good, it lacked flavor. Honestly was a bit concerned when we were pulling into the parking lot. BUT it was 100% worth it. Beryl was amazing!!! I went to Red Lobster Friday night October the 28. The one on Town Center and Independence Boulevard at 7:00pm. The hostess... ignored me she looked at me. She didn't ask me if was waiting to be seated. So my son and i left Red Lobster. I will not begoing back again until less they fix the problem. We had placed an order at around 4:15pm on Sept 16th by phone at this outlet, for pickup and when we arrived at the restaurant... at around 4:30pm, we decided that we would like to dine-in instead. We were given a booth adjacent to the windows. The factthat we had decided to eat there after having placed an order for pick up seemed to be something they weren’t prepared forhandling. They seemed to want us to eat from the “to go” containers that were intended for such orders. We arrivedapproximately 10 to 15 minutes before the scheduled pick up so I don’t even know if the food would have been placed in thosecontainers at that point. Anyway, when we asked to have our food served on regular dinnerware since we would be dining in, theparticular individual was “huffy” about the request responding with statements such as “the order was supposed to be apick up and would usually be in “to go” containers”, as though to make this request was really going to throw thingsoff. Then, she presented me with a bill to be paid even before the food had been brought to the table and she stood there atthe table for me to fill out the information (including tip, etc.) which made me uncomfortable given the experience up to thatpoint. I went ahead and tipped a generous 20% which is what I normally do but in this case only because I didn’t know what toexpect with my meal still to come had I not tipped or given something less and more commensurate with what was truly deserved atthat point. I restated the request for the dinnerware and she said that they were “””REALLY””” busy in the back sothis may take some time. I said we could go ahead and cancel the sale at this time and leave if that would be better for them.She said, no, it was being taken care of. Note that there were not that many people in the restaurant at that point because wewere there early and definitely not during a peak period. Shrimp fest! Always a fan. Our server was the best, food was almost too hot to eat which is not a complaint and quite welcomed.... Decor is a little dated, seemed very dark and lacking life, maybe get a new lobster tank?
