We placed a catering order for a take-and-bake MEAT lasagna for a family event. Meat lasagna was an entree we could all agree... on, since the men in our family scoff at meatless meals. Let?s just say, as you can see in the photo, it was a lotta ricotta. As in, I thought there was a mixup and they?d given us a cheese lasagna by accident. Upon closer inspection, there was anextremely thin layer of meat at the very bottom. So disappointing. Especially in light of the fact that the price for a halfsheet of lasagna was nearly ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS. Yes, you read that right! Needless to say, we won?t consider Primo as anoption for next year?s event. This is a PSA for anyone considering ordering the MEAT lasagna?-it was not what Iexpected. UPDATE: I?d like to thank Primo Pizza for contacting me in response to my review. The issue with our catering orderseems to have been an isolated incident and, after our conversation, I feel confident that they?ve taken steps to address it. I?ll definitely be taking them up on their generous offer to give them another try and look forward to sampling other menu itemssoon. OMGGGGG, our first time here and the food is out this mondo (world)?. simply delicious ????!!! From the fried calamari, caprese... (salad yummy), bread ???? and for dinner we got a specialty pasta ???? OMG I was in Heaven? Pasta heaven!!! Next time we comevisit around Virginia, Primo (Pizzeria Ristorante) is going to be our first visit for dinner to mangiare!!! Read more
These guys have by far THE MOST Delicious authentic food. If you dine in, you will love the warm family atmosphere. You'll see... people on date nights, as well as kids in sport uniforms finally able to relax for some food with their parents. Excellent spot for "made like mama does" Italian food. Great pizza, pasta, and subs. Try the garlic knots and enjoy the real... garlic that the bread is topped with. Wow! I have a family of 5 and, even with an appetizer, dinner cost the same as theclosed on Sunday chicken sandwich place. Unbelievable! If you haven't been here, go. Great people that work here and the service was just as good! We brought a 5 & 2 yrs old and sat in the booths watching them... prepare the pizza, etc. Loved our pizza! Can't say enough great things about our experience. Hope yours is just as good! Read more
Online ordering for pickup pizza is disappointing. It provides an option to provide special instructions. Asked for black... olives on half the pizza and had the entire pie covered with what looked like a full can of black olives. Will give them onemore try since the pizza is normally very good. Incredibly disappointing. Husband & older son received their pasta dishes in a fairly timely manner. I received my salad after... they were done eating their pasta. And my younger son's pizza order was just "lost." Waited over an hour for a pizza. Will notbe back. Read more
Used to be so good. I used to drive 50 min weekly to get it. Salt seems to now be the main taste in the pizza. Too bad. Seems... like it?s become just another place, going for the cheap ingredients instead of maintaining a healthier and good qualityoffering. Read more
