I?ve been here many times and the staff has always been friendly and the food is always delicious!
Came here for the first time as a dine in customer. Food was fresh and ready in less than 10 minutes! This Panera was clean and... efficient. They were out of iced coffee! However, it?s 1130am and maybe everyone had drank it already. I did ask for it to berefilled and the manager himself, Dan, got it refilled quickly for me. Keep up the good work Panera! Today we went to this location at 1007, prior to any rush. We ordered a pre-made muffin and a bagel toasted. After waiting for... ten minutes, we asked the associate for help. She sarcastically walked to the counter and said ?I have a customer who doesn?thave their bagel.? Loudly, in front of us. And the combined incompetence of the associate and staff gave us a fresh bagel, nottoasted. I called after discovering this and asked for a manager. When the associate, Dan, answers the phone, I requested amanager. He then reintroduced himself stating, ?I?m Dan, I?m a manager here.? I received a less than authentic reaction of thenews and the employee was known to Dan. I received a statement, ?and if you need a bagel I?ll get you a bagel.? After manyyears, almost ten, of going to this location I?m just disappointed. Food quality has diminished over time. But for Panera Breadto get a simpler bagel order so mishandled is a sign of the store and it?s quality. Read more
Not a stellar Panera. BLUF: Yes, you'll get good Panera food, but the place is just so-so, and kiosk ordering is tedious and... annoying; please just pay for the staffing to support a guy at the register. The food is good, but I don't expect muchvariation in quality from a chain restruant, however other elements make this location just mostly ok. It doesn't have thetea/juice bar like I'm used to seeing at Panera, there was also no sweet tea which is basically unheard of around here, thefloors were sticky and my latte with caramel drizzle ended up being a latte with caramel syrup dumped in the bottom of the cup. Also, the employees calling out ready orders at the counter all seemed like they were inconvenienced for having to move foodfrom the kitchen to the serving bench; I even tipped generously, but I guess its too much bother on your day to do your job. Theres an inviting "cozy fireplace" seating area, but it's right next to the soda bar, which is noisy and less than cozy, andthere's extra tables and chairs kind of strewn around the dining area. It all feels thrown together, like grandma's diningroom at family Christmas when you have to borrow seating from the community center and have no where else to put them whenthey're not in use. I'm also not a fan of the kiosk ordering system, it's so much nicer, and faster, to order from a person. Read more
We ate at our favorite Panera on Upton . We hadn't been in awhile . It was terrible . Old greens in our salads, missing... ingredients and the dressing tasted different . The bread, we love, was old . Also I got the baha bowl , it wasn't good . Itwas missing ingredients . The place was dirty . We couldn't find a table that was clean . I spoke with the manager , he was rudeand didn't offer anything , he argued with me and we left . We used to go so often that we knew all the managers . We love tocomplement the managers and people making the food . This guy we had never seen before . And he will never see us again. Obviously , this location is under new management . Read more

Efficient way to get dinner quickly with the Panera App. It only took less than 10 minutes to get my pick two( Vegetarian Autumn... Squash Soup and salad). Wow! It is my new favorite creamy fall soup with only 210 calories in the cup size! The restaurant isdecorated tastefully for fall and a nice evening vibe on a first cool night! Good parking options too! Food was ok as usual but upon looking at the receipt my wife noticed that the clerk only ordered one oatmeal, when my wife... pointed this out she said well you only ordered one. Why say that, what was served by saying it was the customers fault soquickly and so rudely? It could have been an honest mistake by either of them but in this case I was standing right beside mywife when she requested two oatmeals. This is the store on Upton Dr in Virginia Beach and our ticket number was 268681. It isOct. 27. There was absolutely no reason to be that rude!! Read more
