Came there with a group of 4 to celebrate Mother’s Day. We chose this location because last time we were there about a year... and a half ago we had a decent experience. I am not sure what happened, but I wish I’d read other recent reviews before goingthere. Long story short, if you’re looking for a spot to get at least decent sushi - look elsewhere. All of the rolls we’veordered literally looked and tasted the same. They were made of mostly rice with almost none of salmon or other ingredients.Rice was over cooked. All of the rolls were garnished with the same sauce. This dinner was a huge disappointment and a cause ofstomach ache. P.s. pictures really look much better than real thing :) Read more
encredably delicious i ordered spicy tuna roll that is in the picture i also ordered shrimp tempura roll but i devoured that... before i realized i hadn’t taken photos yet! i wasn’t too hungry but the food was incredibly delicious i devoured them rollsthe noodles where for my kids but i ended up enjoying them too! This was my first visit to O'Yummy at the Kempsriver location and I will definitely return. The restaurant is clean and the... tables are spaced apart. The staff are super friendly and eager to help if you have difficulty deciding or have questions. Thefood was fresh and hot. Their sushi and shumai tastes better than most all you can eat spots in this area. Everything we orderedwas good. We also received a free bamboo plant. This place is worth a try. Read more
This spot is amazing. The all you can eat sushi is legitimate, and the price is more than fair. The staff is always super... friendly and attentive and the restaurant is always clean. The decor is super cute, and they even gave us fancy reuseablechopsticks once! All of the rolls are delicious and the shrimp shumai is a must try. I wish I lived closer as this would be aweekly stop of mine if I did. If you love sushi do yourself a favor and try this spot out, you won't regret it. My husband isn'ta sushi eater and got the chicken fried rice and LOVED it. There is something for everyone. Read more
Absolutely wonderful experience. We did not have to wait for a table. The staff was very attentive. The food was quickly served... and hot. $26.95 epr adult for all you can eat dinner. The food: Beef short rib - so this was incredible. It was so good Iforgot to take a picture at first. The meat is grilled to perfection with a yummy, sweet teriyaki sauce. Definitely trythis! -Tuna sashimi - absolutely delicious. Especially dipped in the gyoza dumpling sauce. -gyoza dumplings - very crispy andstuffed full. Yummy - shumai dumplings - new thing for me and I was not disappointed. They are not crispy like the gyoza -spring roll - Crisp and delicious - chicken fried rice - good buck lacked flavor. Was better when I added the dumpling sauce -yakisoba noodles - again lacking flavor. Full of veggies and chicken but needed something acidic. - chicken on a stick - soflavorful and juicy. Definitely try this - tuna takaki - it is raw tuna in a slightly spicy sauce with a cucumber saladunderneath. Very delicious - vegetable tempura - didn't not like at all. This is one of my favorite things at other places. Theveggies were mushy, flavorless. There was more tempura than veggie on a couple pieces. House salad - so crispy and cold.
