Mission BBQ is pretty good. Wouldn't call it the best BBQ spot in the area. I have ordered from here twice and the sauce is what... makes the meat taste great. I am never disappointed coming here. But today stood out with their customer service, and they need to be recognized! I wish I... remembered her name, but she had short red hair. One, she greeted me loudly upon entry and immediately put a smile on my facewith her energy. Two, I was late getting food because of traffic, and she called to verify I was still coming and even wentahead and ensured my fries were freshly made! Definitely didn?t have to, but boy did that make me feel valued by the littlethings! Ensured everything was good to go, and even gave a little cup for my son. Lemonade was fresh and food was delicious..you guys are the real MVP. Father's day and we were able to walk in, place our orders, enjoy our delicious food in their outdoor seating area. Brisket was... perfect! We ordered both options. Collard greens were excellent. Mac n cheese was fresh, and the coleslaw well... just anamazing meal. The establishment was CLEAN, Welcoming and the customer service just made it even better! Great service! First time as a Virginia Beach citizen for 14 years that I have been here and they gad some of the nicest staff... I've met. They instructed me what everything was on the menu and even gave me recommendations. On top of that, the food Iordered was the absolute BOMB. I HIGHLY recommend this place! Read more
Completely amazing first time experience at this place. Got the brisket sandwich and a pulled chicken sandwich with fries and... sweet teas. Absolutely delicious. All the varieties of BBQ were fantastic too! My favorites wete the Texas Tang and the SmokyMountain. Cool atmosphere and decor and plenty of seating inside and out. Plus, one of the cashiers heard that it was ourfirst time here so she took a moment to give us a quick summary and even brought out a special sauce to try called AlabamaWhite. SO GOOD!! Ask for it! I don't remember the name of the stellar cashier that was so kind during our ordering and eatingexperience. However, it was on 10/31 at around 1/130pm and she had a black visor with some sequin bling on it. She was excellentand deserves some recognition. It Smelled good when we entered the building. I was ready to try something different and then as I began to order I noticed the... Price for a full meal was $20 or more. Everything is Al a cart. The Sandwich alone is already $9-$12. They should at least offera couple combos. ???? Read more
I?d given this restaurant 5 stars before because they give Veterans such great food, and outstanding service every Veteran?s... day. I always get the brisket and (moist means a little more marbling and a lot more delicious flavor) to tantalize your taste???? buds! I went in again Dec 2022 and Ken was the new manager. He gave me the best warm bread pudding with great texturesgoing on. Trinity waited on me and had someone drop me brand new hot fries? she?s awesome and so we?re they. My favorite sauceis the Nashville hot and the Alabama white sauce is great on fries. They also have a shaker of Old Bat seasoning. The lemonadehad fresh lemons ???? in the container!
