This is the only fast food restaurant that still seems to be run like most places were pre-pandemic. Every time I?ve gone, the... food has been served fresh and piping hot, and the employees have been friendly, or at least polite. The line can be a bit long,but it moves quicker than every other McD?s we?ve been to in the area. I?m just glad it?s pretty far from where we live,otherwise we?d be eating here a lot more often! ???? Used the drive-thru for a breakfast meal. Generally no problem, however on this visit my order was not ready. Had to pull around... to the drive-thru waiting area. Understandable, sometimes things can become a little backed up. The problem when you receiveyour order and it's incorrect. I had to come back and go inside in order to have them correct the order. Usually I don't have a problem going to this place, but the one time I go inside and place an order no one welcomes me. No one... even acknowledges me, and when my food is ready they just place it up on this going out holding area. Doesn't even call mynumber so I know that it's ready. So I just grabbed my bag and I'm just standing here waiting for my drink I had to ask anotherwalking customer if they usually put drinks in a bag. The walk in customers say yes. So I grabbed my bag open it to make sureeverything is there and I'll leave. I just want to end it here and just leave a suggestion for all the workers there maybe justbe courteous and say something to your customers especially when I'm the only one there thank you. Read more
Honestly the first part was great. Gentleman took my order quickly. I paid. He gave my pup some loves. Then I arrived at the... second window and received my food quickly. I asked if it had extra pickles on it and the gentleman said he get me a side ofpickles in case it did not. Which was great but while he was gone thankfully I checked my food because. My fries were cold andgross to the point that my dog wouldn't eat them. I opened my six pack of nuggets to give my pup one and discovered it wasfilled with Big Mac sauce. So if I had left I would have had gross french fries and missing a six pack of nuggets the gentlemanwas nice enough to replace my fries with fresh ones and give me the correct six pack of nuggets instead of the one that wasfilled with Big Mac sauce but the point is if I had left and not checked my order I would have been very upset when I got homeand of course when I got home and I tried the chicken nuggets they were ice cold so he didn't even give me fresh nuggets eitherI appreciate that they're open late but if they aren't going to serve fresh food they're just going to serve stuff that's beensitting around they might as well close early like everyone else Read more
We have to take our food home and cook it more. So that?s fun. Also asked for no salt on the fries. *see pic of salted fries. We... also tried to get extra pickles on two of the burgers, as reflected in the receipt they brought us. There was one pickle oneach. The people who work here are clearly miserable. Maybe McDonald?s could pay them more so they have some insensitive to makemy food correctly?! A wild thought, but I sure would appreciate knowing I?m going to enjoy the food I pay for. Read more
This place has 3.4 stars for a reason. Ordered a cheeseburger with no pickled no onions (as reflected on the bag receipt). So... they did take my order down correctly. However,... The receipt on the burger wrap said no onions no mustard (what?) And thenthe burger had onions but no pickles and mustard...(what?) How hard is it for fast food employees to just follow the orderinstructions? And they want to raise the minimum wage? Maybe if they did their minimum wage jobs correctly. @Mcdonalds feelfree to reach out if you want to give me a voucher, and maybe I'll consider giving McDonald's another chance. Read more
OMG I stopped eating McDonald?s food in Hampton long time ago. My stomach would bubble up and Lordy have mercy I spent all my... time in the bathroom. On this particular occasion Uber sent me to McDonald?s all the way in Virginia Beach from Norfolk. When Ipulled up and saw how clean the parking lot was and how organized it was for pick up, delivery, and curbside. I was shocked, Thestaff was nice and friendly and well dressed. The men were nicely groomed for what I can see through the window. No one smelledof marijuana a night club. We were able to go and getting a space for curbside pick up of our Uber delivery it was fast. Andwhen I went to go see where I was delivering it to I had to take it all way back to Norfolk. Clearly this with somebody who hadeaten here before. So I told my son the food there must be good. So on Mother?s Day when I had a break from doing Uber Idecided that I would go to this McDonald?s for lunch. I went all the way across town from Shore Drive to Lynnhaven. The food wasdelicious. My quarter pounder with made of real beef! Or should I say real ground beef like the kind your mama used to make athome. I savored every single bite until it was gone within five seconds oops I mean minutes. Reminded me of their burgers fromwhen I was a little girl. Get to the McDonald?s at Lynnhaven and Princess Anne Road in Virginia Beach. Good food friendly staffclean parking lots. All because they have excellent management. Read more
