NO STARS! Now usually i love this place. But as long as they have that new cook do not even waste your money or gas! The food is... nasty and taste plain. Fish plain, macaroni plain and shrimp plain and yams very slimy taste like potato water mixed with slime.I told the manager i drove all the way from Hampton could not make it back. That is a long drive for me and i work, don?t getoff till traffic flooded. I took off today and decided to get it. My son usually tear their shrimp up and he did not eat. Wasteof money. Ordered the pork chop dinner with cabbage and Mac n Cheese. The whole meal was made of SALT. It was so salty I couldn't even... give it to my dog. I used to eat at the one on Military Highway and I loved it. Now it's complete TRASH. I didn't even receivecornbread with my meal. The grease for the chops need to be changed. My chops were blacker than me. The cabbage was overcookedwith too much pepper. And the MnC was mushy and so much salt you couldn't taste the cheese. I should've just gone to Ellen'sBBQ. . I ordered the chicken wing dinner. After 25 minutes, my order came up. I was the only one in there. It doesn?t take that long... to drop wings in oil. This was my first time eating there. I had the catfish dinner which came with 2 sides,for 15.99. I had cabbage,string beans and... yams plus I ordered dessert, peach cobbler,which was horrible! I told them that the cobbler wasn't good and got a large piece ofstrawberry cake which wasn't that great either but was edible! My total cost for my meal was 25.00 and some change. The food wasokay! The pork 2 pork chops were the cheap assorted cut, not center cut and they were fatty. You can?t tell from the photo but they... were thin. Good flavor on the pork chops but terrible flavor on the greens and cabbage. The cabbage looked and tasted old andway past overcooked. The greens were almost as disappointing. I struggled to give them a 3 because the cashier had no customerservice skills to top it all off. I think it?s overpriced as well. Read more

Save your gas ?? people are polite but meat portions are small, and the yams was actually pie filling. Greens was salty and... blah. Rice was undercooked. Not a good experience as a whole. Hopefully it as just a bad day for the cook. Read more
