This place is AWESOME with bartender Tray (a female so you know). I don't drink much but because I was on vacation, I asked for... her recommendations. SHE DIDN'T DISAPPOINT!!! All 3 of the drinks she recommended (1 being a secret recipe!!!) were wonderful!!!The secret recipe was like applesauce or apple cider - it was delicious!!! As for the food, while the lunch/dinner menu issmall, what we got was superb!!! The chicken quesadilla was really good and of course we ate it with sour cream and salsa. TheMexican fried shrimp was a really unique item that tasted awesome! We highly recommend it!!! The pound of shrimp also tastedgood, with old bay and cocktail sauce. It was the usual great stuff. Tasted fresh and on point. Last but not least, the all youcan eat breakfast buffet from this restaurant is really great too!!!! $15 per person, but we got it for free because of ourhotel rewards status. Add to that the fact that you get a discount if you are staying in the hotel where the restaurant islocated, and you have a super great deal!! See the receipt for the discount. I was also impressed by the size of their napkins!Again, please see the picture where you you can see the size of the take out box and the size of the napkins!! Charming restaurant inside the Holiday Inn hotel. Who knew it would be such a good experience! Even though short staffed (who... isn't these days?), our food was hot and delicious, and service with a smile. Some nice menu items for breakfast and dinner, alltried and true. Have eaten here for breakfast and dinner several times during my stay at the HIE. The food tasted great and came out fast. I... recommend the fried-fish tacos over grilled-shrimp tacos. I have seen a wide variety of beverages, food, and desserts at othertables. I have also selected their breakfast buffet, consisting of your hotel staples plus fresh fruit. The atmosphere islively, with music and time-appropriate lighting. The dining area is always clean and comfortable. The decor has a verysea-side-pier motif with a beach-front view of the Atlantic Ocean. The personnel are very welcoming and attentive. Read more

Hemingway's is awesome!! We found it by accident and ended up eating there for lunch and dinner in the same day. Staff is... awesome, especially Billy the bartender and Lucky (yes, that's his real name), food and drinks were great and prices were veryreasonable. The restaurant is beautiful. Awful experience! We started with drink. My wife got a specialty cocktail and really enjoyed it. I was not as fortunate as a... standard beam and coke was incorrect. I am not sure if it is given to me on the rocks or water was added. It took at least 15minutes to get two cocktails. Food took almost an hour to receive when we were literally the only people there. Others came inafter us and received there food before us. When our food arrived, most of it was cold and missing items. Our server wasquestioned and she informed us that my wife's sandwich is prepared from scratch and that is why all the food was cold. Really?Sounds like poor kitchen staff and a worse excuse. Our server did try to rectify some of the issues. She offered free dessertwhich we politely declined and brought fresh fries after we had already eaten the cold ones. A modest 15% was taken off ourbill. In reality, the food was cold and the quality was lacking. It is a shame as we were hoping for a different outcome. Read more

Utterly poor service. Was in fact very disappointed. We chose this restaurant because it seemed clean and ?friendly?was next to... our hotel on the beach, but basic restaurant ethics do not exist here? or maybe it?s just for certain race. We were expectingto dine together as a family and enjoy a good meal. However, the waiter was not very welcoming and served our drinks in plasticto-go cups and our food in boxes. while everyone else had regular dinner wear and utensils. When I asked another waiter thereason we were served in plastic he said the regular glasses might be unwashed. But others who came after received regulardrinking glass. So we decided to not eat there and asked to pay for the drinks we didn?t drink and leave. Read more
