This restaurant is nice for a quick lunch break or a quick meal after a stroll on the boardwalk. However, please be advised that... they factor the tip into your bill. Tips are NOT optional at this establishment and you CANNOT customize an amount either. TheyWILL take 18% gratuity without your consent or knowledge, which can be a fat tip if your bill is already the better portion of$100. They did not inform me that gratuity is included when I entered the establishment. I believe that is misleading andborderline theft. There were only two people in my party, myself included, so 18% is a bit excessive. I understand that thestate of the economy is in shambles and most restaurants have increased the minimum suggested tip from 10% to 15% but the keyword is suggested. I had every intention of providing a tip, but I tip according to the quality of the food and the quality ofthe service, neither of which was worthy of 18% gratuity. I do not recommend coming to this restaurant at all. I, for one willnot return. That is the first and last time I will spend my dollars at Guads. Read more

The waiter stole from me! I paid with a card and added a tip and put the total amount to be charged but the waiter added an... additional $12 to my tip thinking I wouldn?t notice. I called to the restaurant 3 different times and was told no manager orsupervisor was available which made no sense because a supervisor is always around definitely since they have a alcohol license.DO NOT VENTURE INTO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! Went on a super busy Saturday night. Took 30 minutes to get seated but only 10 minutes to get our food after being seated. My... waiter was great. The entire staff was great but my food was even better. Read more

Food was mediocre and bland. 18% gratuity added for parties 5 or more, although there were only 4 of us. My kids taco was so... greasy it made the shell soggy, my other child had fries that were barely even cooked. Would NOT recommend. Read more

Only reason I give 3 stars is because we received good customer service. Aside from that the food itself deserves 1 star. My... husband ordered a Carne Asada, it was honestly the worst carne asada we?ve been served. The meat wasn?t even a cm thick. Itwasn?t grilled & half of it was fat. I ordered shrimp tacos & it literally just looked thrown together. Food had noflavor. Wouldn?t recommend to anyone, especially if you?ve had good quality Mexican food before.
