Great food, drinks, and service! My son is stationed at Oceana, just returned from deployment, so most of the family drove or... flew in from Texas to welcome him home. The first meal my son requested was good Mexican food, and he directed us here. It didnot disappoint! We're from Texas, we know good Mexican food!! Our server was amazing. This is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. The food is great, the service is very, very good. Honestly one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. The people are always kind and attentive. They have a ton of margarita... flavors and the regular house lime margaritas are cheap. One word "amazing". I'll be a more detailed review below, but for tldr Food 10/10, service 10/10, drinks 10/10, decor 10/10,... building/cleanliness 10/10. Must visit, my highest recommendation and review I've given thus far. OK now for my more detailedreview. We ordered the Mocajete and chorizo Pollo soft tacos and sopapillas for desert. The Mocajete was incredible, thecauldron was gigantic, and filled to the brim with meat, perfected seasoned 5inch steak strips, chicken and soft sweet cactus.The chorizo pollo tacos were hearty flavorful, and the sauce had just the right amount of kick. The sopapillas were fluffycrunchy and sweet. The presentation overall was amazing. The service was on point, our drinks never went unfilled, and ourserver was always around to check on us and our enjoyment. The building interior was so nice, very fancy and well laid out, thebar section was incredible, lighting, and booths were top notch, and menus well laid out. Finally the exterior was very neatwith a large stone entryway. In closing an incredible experience and a place I suggest everyone try once. Read more
