I am a big fan of Triple D and this was a must visit when I got to Virginia Beach. The BBQ fish taco I had was fire. Could not... get enough. Service was impeccable. I had a piece of key lime pie for dessert. The filling was perfect but the crust was alittle odd. Was like a floury graham cracker that i didn't care for. Will definitely be back though. Read more
Walked in around 1:00 on a Saturday, sat immediately. Andrea was the waitress. She took good care of us and checked on us every... few minutes. She couldn?t have done much better. We had 2 orders of bbq fish tacos and a kids taco. The kids chicken taco wasdry but other than that everything was really good. Will recommend and will return. Read more

So we came here because Guy said it was good. Well the recipe must of changed on these bbq fish tacos. They look amazing but... honestly no flavor and I don't even know how that is possible by looking at them! We were full for sure but these just didn'thit the mark. Kids plates were good though. Took my wife for the first time , She got the shrimp tacos and they were good. The shrimp tasted good and the tacos were good. I... got the sweet thai chicken wrap and it was also good , little heat but was cut by sweetness of the sauce. Also shared the craband corn fritters on the appetizer menu , to me and my wife they were fried too dark. They had some almost burned spots on themand also tasted a little burnt in some spots. We decided to give Flip Flops a try. Got there at Happy Hour which turned out to be a good thing. We sat at the bar thinking we... would get good service. The Bartender spent more time talking to either his regulars or friends (I don?t know which) thengetting our order or food. The sangrias and margaritas were the best thing we had. Ordered Calamari which took awhile to comeand they didn?t seem that busy. It looked very good when it came out. Lightly breaded could see something that looked likeseasoning on it. As we all know looks can be deceiving! It was very chewy and had know flavor. For dinner we ordered theChorizo Burger and the BBQ Fish Tacos. The only flavor my burger had was the Chorizo and Cheese. The burger itself had no flavorand was dry (frozen?). With my burger I also ordered the fresh vegetables which were barely cooked, very crunchy should havebeen on a salad.
