highly disappointed... this was my first time here moving to VA BEACH from Delaware where we dont have any duck donuts. I was so... excited and this is what they gave me. The worker which was an older white guy put everything on the donuts as they we're pipinghot still and everything just melted completely off. Ruined my experience. 2/10 would not recommended. Last two visits here were not great. We were not helped after waiting for nearly 5 minutes. We were not talked to at all.... Instead, 2 workers filled online orders and didn?t give us time of day. So we left and I called to complain. They were defensiveand not apologetic. Also lied about welcoming us or saying anything to me or my kids. I used it as a lesson to my kids of howcustomers should be treated. We went to peace love and donuts and had an amazing experience! Do not go here unless you have to.I suppose online ordering is fine but we felt unimportant and there was nobody in line!! Read more

Lets start with the good, Donuts were amazing as always! However I had to wait 45 minutes for my dozen donuts to be finished. ... The staff is completely unorganized and was literally fighting over whom was supposed to get donuts as they came off theconveyor. The member started making my dozen when they ran out of donuts, noone checked the machine to see they were out ofdough. Then as the donuts became available a different employee started making 3 additional orders that were ordered after meand online instead of finishing the order that was already in work. Then they began to fight about who the donuts belonged toand literally took the donuts out of each others boxes. During this time I watched them also throw away 2 1/2 dozen donuts theymade with no explanation as to why.. They ended up finishing the other 3 orders prior to finishing my order and then exclaimedyour order will be ready soon. Again this was 45 minutes after I ordered in the store at the counter. There was no apology forthe amount of time it took or compensation. Will most likely drive the extra 5 miles to get my donuts from a different store. Sad b/c they are right around the corner from me and my family really enjoys these donuts. Read more
My daughter wanted a donut cake, but to also infuse her love of the musical Hamilton into her birthday celebration. So we got a... dozen bacon donuts with different icings (maple, chocolate and strawberry), and added in the Hamilton decor - it was amazing andmade for one happy 12 year old! We discovered Duck Donuts a few years ago while in NC, and I am SO glad to see that they'rebecoming more popular here in my hometown of Hampton Roads! Read more
(As a disclaimer this is for the Landstown location in Virginia Beach). I arrived at 6:50 AM and stood outside thinking the... store would open at 7 AM. A person inside the store made eye contact with me as she was preparing donuts. Finally after 7:10 AMshe came to the door and asked me "What do you need". I started to explain to her I was there to purchase donuts. She rudlyinterrupted me and said "Don't you see all the lights are not on; and I have no help at the moment.
