As far as taste goes, the donuts are delicious. However in the past year the service has declined significantly. Often the staff... is rude, unfriendly, and don?t seem to care about doing their job. As recently as this morning I tried to place an order onlinebut the site wasn?t working. I called to place an order and the staff member told me they don?t take phone calls. I told himthat the site wasn?t working and he said I would have to keep trying. So I drove up to the store and they were completely empty.When I placed my order I was #2. So the worker simply didn?t want to take my order on the phone. In a world where customerservice means everything, I expect better. Today will be my last purchase. Dunkin? is across the street. I?m blown away on my first visit to Duck Donuts! It?s astronomically different to any other donut place I?ve been to. There are... no shelves of available donuts. Every single order is made after being placed. A machine churns out the plain vanilla basedonut. Each of these then go through a dunk base coat, sprinkled toppings, and a finishing drizzle - depending on what youordered, and completely customizable. We went with a traditional dozen for later. If you prefer cake donuts to yeast donuts, this would be your spot. Got here immediately after opening and went with 6 donuts.... Definitely made to order as you can see and smell the little donut fryer/maker doing its thing. One of the drawbacks of thesefreshly made donuts is time... the toppings on my donuts didn't look as....Mmm, appetizing. The lemon raspberry drizzle onelooked like mustard and ketchup. Lol. I still ate it. And it was alright. A tad bit too sweet for me though. Donuts aresmaller in size compared to other shops. There maybe something up with their vents. My clothes still smells like friedoil. Overall, curiosity has been satisfied about this spot. Probably won't be back as I'm a yeast donut kinda gal. Love the donuts and the variety of flavors offered! The blueberry icing was a tad too sweet, all the icing were really sticky.... Trying to remove the donut from the box was a little difficult, it felt like the donut would fall apart because they were stuckthe box. Besides that they are delicious! Read more
