It's rare to find authentic Puerto Rican in this area. I was excited to find this spot to take me back to my trip to Puerto... Rico. I tried the Mofongo Con Caldo. That is such a unique Puerto Rican dish (at least the only time I've had/seen it). As aside order it is a very generous serving and the flavor is so unique and tasty. It's served with a cup of Chicken broth thathelps cut some of the dryness of the dish. It was very good. We also had the Pernil Asado. For me I thought the meat was alittle dry but the seasoning gave it such great flavor. It's served with a choice of their different rices and a little saladon the plate. The Dorado was another one that we tried. One of the selling points was it was described as having a mango pico;however, it came with a pineapple pico. So just threw off our expectations a little. The mahi was a little overcooked, butagain the seasoning really made and kept it tasty. Read more

Wow so so so good! The empanadas were juicy and flavorful. Their mayoketchu was def homemade, bc it was perfect. The mofongo was... moist and made perfectly, no extra garlic sauce needed. The service was attentive, quick and sweet. Can’t wait to come back! Read more

2nd time being here, and it did not disappoint. We had the spicy mango margarita, Rican sampler, carne frites and the white rice... and beans. My favorite!! The staff was great, and the food delicious. We’ll be back. Read more

Food was good . Service was slow, only 1 server for the whole restaurant . Half the tables were empty but you go to reserve... online it said no reservations available until the next day ??. There was a few drinks in menu that weren’t available. Thechicharron de credo was great. The charge 18 % service charge to the bill regardless of how many people are dining. So that’sbasically the tip. Cuban sandwich was okay. Read more

I really want to give this place 5 stars but I think they need a bit more time to figure out the flow of the restaurant. We came... around 6:45 on a Saturday and were told it would be a 30 minute wait and we would be texted when the table was ready. After anhour of waiting we got a call saying “we’ve been texting you” but there was only one automated text that came through ASthey were calling us. Lol. Anyway, we get seated. Our waitress was very nice and apologetic for the slow service but assured usthe food was good. And she was right! We had many great cocktails while we waited that helped the wait go by. And we all lovedour meals. Two of us had the carne frita mofongo, another had the pork shoulder trifongo, and another had the chicken milanese.Everything was amazing. The pork, the plantain, the beans, the milanese sauce… we also had empanadas for an appetizer whichwere great. I think this place is definitely worth visiting, but maybe in a month or two when they’ve gotten in more of agroove. In addition to the service being slow they were out of several items. So I would either give it some time, come early ona weekday, or just go on the weekend and expect to be patient. But overall awesome food and a fun vibe. Read more
