Went to Lynnhaven Mall today and we decided to have lunch at Charleys. I have always loved their food and it was my go to place... when I was at the mall. Today the food was awful! The lemonade had a chemical taste like some sort of cleaning agent was left inthe container after cleaning. Apparently the bread for the small subs has been changed and it was was disgusting. Even the foodoff the grill didn't taste good. $26 wasted. Will never go there again. Read more

Got 3 sandwichs here today and had hair in two of them. I am not pleased. They were both vivid red hairs (curly) and i dont even... recall anyone there having red hair when i went. It grossed us out so much we couldnt continue eating so I threw them away.Thats $20+ wasted. Read more

Never fails to impress me. I've been going at this establishment for years now and they never miss my order and make sure I get... what I want. I got the chicken philly, it was just ok?like, ?meh? okay. Although, I will say that the person making my food was new, so I... will give grace. It wasn?t terrible, it just wasn?t very flavorful. Also, the fries had no seasoning either. I?ve been to otherCharleys and they?ve been pretty decent, but it?s hit or miss and this one wasn?t all that great. Hey Charleys, a little tip from someone originally from Philly. Mayonnaise does NOT belong anywhere on a Philly cheesesteak.... I?ve lived in Virginia Beach since 1995 and I have learned to specifically state ?no mayonnaise? when ordering a Phillycheesesteak here. Unfortunately, many places still don?t listen. My daughter ordered two cheesesteaks, stated ?no mayonnaise ?and they both had mayonnaise. Please listen to your customers. Very disappointed. Read more

Every time I make a visit to Virginia Beach, I stop at Lynnhaven Mall. Everytime I stop at Lynnhaven Mall, I get Charleys. It's... pretty much the same as all the rest, and it's a little overpriced, but it's a guaranteed fresh grilled chicken/steak sandwichand fresh fries, so it's the food court winner in my book.
