This used to be me and my family's favorite place to eat. The one in Newport News is still very good and I will drive there to... eat from now on. This place is really gone downhill the last few times we went the food had been sitting under heat lamps for solong that it was dried out and crusty and hard. We didn't complain the last few times but this time the food was so bad that wedid say something and the manager on duty just said that everything was fresh and that the chef just put it out. The mac andcheese was crusty and dried the coconut shrimp was crusty and dried the only thing that was decent was the sushi and the soupother than that everything else was terrible and we will no longer eat at this Branch however the Buffet City in Newport News isstill excellent Read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME. First of all, they got us with their new policy of paying/tipping before you sit down. We were... shown to our table. We went to grab a plate and make our rounds. i would say about 90% of the food appeared old. Had a dry filmor looked crusty. A lot of it wasn?t even hot coming off the steam table. Even the chicken nuggets that were clearly from afrozen bag were just gross. I explained to the manager that the majority of the buffet was inedible and we were extremelydissatisfied. They then asked our server how many plates we had and she replied that we had 5 between the two of us but failedto mention that most of the food was untouched. We were only there for twenty minutes and will NEVER be back again. Wish I hadtaken photos. $50 to learn an unfortunate lesson. Read more

The table across from us said it best. ?If you didn?t pay before hand you wouldn?t ever pay on the way out?. Non existent... service, below average food(even for buffet). Pictures of the women?s restroom speak for themselves. Do not eat here Read more

Buffet closes at 11pm. We arrived at 9pm. The sushi bar was limited to what was already made. Same as with most hot items such... as the baked fishes. I think the same amount of food should be available up until closing, because the price is the same upuntil closing. Discount the price of the meal at a certain time if you do not want to keep the buffet stocked. Read more

The food was good. They used plastic utensils. Dinner buffet was advertised at $15.99 on the front door but for 2 it came to... $39.00 I don't think the taxes are that high but they need to update that. The Hibachi grill isn't staffed. You have to ring abell but you cannot tell if it was heard or not. They tell you to wait 3-5 minutes for the cook. My wait was longer. Overall notbad. Read more

It was ok. They didn't have much of a selection. They had the hibachi light on but there was no one cooking hibachi ????. For... the price they should have had more than just chicken and some cold seafood. Read more

Must been one of saddest buffet I've been to. The choices are limited. The hot foods are barely warm and the sushi are really... stale. All the foods are greasy and tasted bad. They had a little kid running the register. Don't waste your money! Read more

Terrible service. Main host gave me and my party attitude for requesting a fountain drink that he asked me to choose. No one was... available to seat us after we were charged before even eating. Food was half warm and half cold. Minimal selection. Sushi tastedof poor grade/quality, some items were not fully cooked either like the fried chicken fingers. This place is pitiful. I willnever come back here again. The one in Chesapeake/Portsmouth I'd so much better. Read more
