Got sick the same night we went. The burger was red in the middle. I wasn't even asked what type of cook I would like, but it's... smoked so assuming people eat undercooked burgers all the time (it tasted good anyway, albeit really salty) I ate it. Not doingthat again. I will not be going back there ever again and I will warn people of the same, they don't ask what type of cook youwant so eat their burgers at your own risk. First and last visit, went to the Centerville location and then only tried itbecause the Mexican place next door which we love was closed. Should have just gone home and baked a pizza or something. The Customer Service was excellent and quick. The food was hot and tasted fresh. So, I appreciate that attention to detail. I?m... from North Carolina and we are some picky people about our BBQ. The NC Chopped BBQ was pretty good. The best that I?ve had whencompared to other places here that claim to have NC BBQ. Just a bit under-seasoned and not quite enough smoke flavor for me. BBQChicken was decent, just a tad on the dry side and missed the Smoke again. The Ribs were a good texture, perfect pull away fromthe bone and probably would have been better without sauce or maybe another Sauce. The sauce that was on it tasted bitter. Irubbed as much as I could off and added my own and they were good then. I think that they should change the sauce and they willbe on point. Again was missing the Smoke. Another note, the half Chicken and Half rack of Ribs were on the pretty small size. For the price, not enough. Chicken and Dumpling were typical of what I?ve had in other places, the dumplings were too mushy butthe flavor was ok. Green Beans were better than any other places. Onion Rings, very good, not soggy at all and flavorful.Hushpuppies made to order. Too dense and a little bland. Not bad though. Downsides- Whatever that sauce is on the Ribs. Not verygood. Very disappointed in the Collards. Good flavor but most of what I had were whole leaves. Looked like no effort to cut themup. I don?t like stalks in mine either so I dumped them out and chopped them up. Also the Brunswick Stew was very off the mark.It tasted like vinegar for some reason. I had my daughter taste it and she said the same thing. Tasted like strong Vinegar. Hadto toss that. Not a bad experience overall though. If they would tweak a few things, they would be pretty good. Customer Servicewas great so I will try again in a few weeks just for that reason. Read more

So I go here for my first time because they advertising Texas brisket. But to my disappointment I order a brisket sandwich and a... pint of brisket as well and I look over in the kitchen and see them pull a baggie of refrigerated meat and throw it on thegriddle to heat up. I asked for a sample of it and it was horrible. It was at least a few days old. When I go to get bbq, Iwould expect to see someone pull a brisket from the warmer and start slicing meat from the whole brisket. Not here they justpull out old meat and reheat on griddle. Im guessing that's how the other meat is prepared. I will never go there again orsuggest this place to anybody I know. I ended up cancelling the pint and took the sandwich for which my daughter was verydispleased. I didn't even tell her how it was prepared. Read more

Excellent BBQ, I'm mainly familiar with their brisket sandwich which is moist and not a lot of fat if any. I have had their... Carolina platter before and everything was good. The chicken tenders weren't too heavily breaded and were moist inside withgood crunch outside. The BBQ was just like the brisket sandwich, moist and seasoned well and went good with their sauces. I'malso only familiar with the cole slaw as a side and for me it's just right. The ingredients are chopped finely, which I like asa I don't like larger pieces or strands, and it's not overly 'wet' and has just the right amount of mayonnaise. The staff arepolite and professional. They are following current Covid guidelines. Recommended. Read more

Highly recommended by a friend and didn't disappoint. Had the brisket sandwich and hush puppies, best I've had in a long time.... Inside of store was very nice and clean, workers were friendly. Can't say anything negative about the experience. Read more

This was my second time there. I ordered the Brisket Philly sandwich; ironically it was better the first time but still good.... I'm not sure who the cook was during my first visit, but I'm certain his persona elevated the experience. I wouldn't say theprice point is equivalent to what you get, but again... still very good. Update: Maybe my first visit was an anomaly.Subsequent visits have been a little disappointing. The brisket [dinner] was flavorful but the cut was reminiscent to steak-um.The breaded Okra was good though. I obviously can't say I'll never go back, but it would be out of convenience. Read more

I don't care for BBQ so I can't help out anyone there, but I LOVE their chicken salad sandwich! It's soooo good! Love how it's... on toasted buttered bread! My only issue is that they are very inconsistent... Sometimes the sandwich has tomatoes and lettuce, but then sometimes it doesn't. I honestly don't know how it's actually meant to come since it's a 50/50 chance you'll get itwith the tomatoes and lettuce. It's delicious regardless! I just get sad when it's without. (And their hush puppies are greattoo!) Read more

First I must say we had some amazing customer service! The food was pretty awesome as well! The only thing I would say was that... I was 50% sure I was eating a once frozen cheeseburger. Aside from that, everything was delicious and fresh. Read more
