Cool steak house! Very casual atmosphere. Pick a table, pick a steak and be prepared for a delicious, reasonably priced steak... dinner. My BF had the t-bone. It was cooked to perfection. We heard the Brass Bell was back but it Ain't a $ restaurant anymore. This use to be a place that was packed with great... affordable steaks. The steaks look to be $35 now. Well, I ordered the Philly cheese steak for $13 added the fries for another$3.50. If you want to call what I got a cheese steak, you can get away with that, but don't put Philly in front of it. When you first walk in "steakhouse" isn't the first thing that pops into your head. I ordered the porterhouse and my wife had... the filet, at $33 a piece I was a bit skeptical. When the steaks came out they were gorgeous and cooked perfectly. Everythingwas delicious and the service was good. Good place to enjoy a steak, grab a drink and play some pool. Currently at Brass Bell and this was the meal. The broccoli and steak were cold. I ordered Medium rare and it seems as if they... forgot to put it on the grill. How disappointing - only gave it one star because this used to be one of my favorite places. Our evening started sitting at a... table that had a dripping ceiling above it. Once I switched chairs, I was able to keep dry (no other tables were available). We ordered two burgers and fries. We sat and sat and sat only to be told 45 minutes later that one of their cooks was a "noshow". We were sympathetic and willing to wait a little longer, BUT after an hour, our waitress returned and told us that ourorder was NEVER put in the system. Which story was true, we will never know. We thanked the waitress and told her we would gohome to eat. We had ordered drinks and paid for them, although I honestly felt this should have warranted a manager's apologyor explanation. The waitress didn't seem the slightest bit upset that we were leaving. Had I been in her shoes, I would havegone to my boss to ask what appropriate action should be taken to keep the customer happy. We went at dinner time last night. It was terrible. I hate to say that. I've always told people they were the best. Never had a... bad meal there until yesterday. My steak was full of grizzle and my baked potato wasn't done. We paid 62.70 plus tip and left.Other people were complaining so we since it was my fault we went there I just wanted to leave.
