Why are they tenders?? The chicken strips are supposed to be thin and crispy. I was served thick soggy chicken tenders with a... splash of sauce. I love bon chon but this was NOT bon chon chicken strips. I added a photo I found on bon chon website of thestrips. Mine clearly are not what is advertised. Kind of mad I spent $20 and got this. I use to justify the cost because thequality was soooo good but here we are. The girl who took my together order was polite. All staff seemed happy and upbeat. Justreally a bummer on the food. This new location is amazing. Looks super fresh and clean. Ambience is fun and casual. Service and staff are attentive and... friendly. As for the menu items - their Garlic Soy Fried Chicken is a MUST! Yum! Also, if you're looking to try other itemsbesides fried chicken - I highly recommend order the Japchae (glass noodle dish) and the Udon noodle soup. They're bothdelicious and super filling! The portions were tiny?. Ended up stopping somewhere else due to still being hungry. 7 dollar fries were a regular side of... French fries. Food was delicious no complaints there. Left a lot to be desired after eating at the Norfolk location. Chicken strips had too much breading and not enough soy garlic... flavor. Quality of food was good but seems as though the staff could use a lesson on how to cook and season the chicken.Probably will not go back to this location after waiting months for it to open. Been waiting for a while for this location to open and we were not disappointed! The food was excellent and the servers were so... friendly and attentive! We will be ordering here heavily! Just as a recommendation I would love to see some anime on one of thetvs. The room also gets a bit loud so something to absorb some of the sound would be really awesome but overall this location iswonderful!
