Place itself was pretty great for a beach themed bar. The TV's however, we're obnoxiously loud. It took forever for someone to... even come over and say "hello." Server was nice enough, but she never checked on us, the food took forever to come out, and thenit was all kind of meh. Read more

My fiancé and I went out on a date night. Good prices on cocktails. Only 2 bartenders on a Saturday night. And it was DEAD. But... they were great. It was also ECSC weekend I believe, so that may have driven some people off. Overall enjoyed our evening andthey are adding more tables outside as well. I had 2 crushes, my Fiancé had 2 Tito?s, and we each had a shot of top shelfvodka, along with the ?pretzel bites? appetizer(which are amazing), and the total was $50. Read more

The service was wonderful! We were immediately greeted upon arrival by a very nice lady (Ariel, I think). She welcomed us like... we were family. A large party of 8 with 4 kids is not always smiled upon when entering a restaurant but that wasn't the case atBig Woody's. She made some suggestions, spoke highly of the food and cleaned up a few spilled water cups without skipping abeat. The food was quite better than expected! The second server who jumped in to help us was very kind as well. If we are inthe area again, we'll stop by again. This place has a townie bar feel to it which is a plus for me. I prefer local places to chain restaurants. Our bartender was... pleasant and attentive. The drinks were great (I recommend the blueberry lemonade crush), our food was decent. My only complaintis that the live music was way too loud for how few people were in there on a Sunday night. We had to yell our orders in orderfor the bartender to hear us. Read more
