The employee in the lobby was very detailed in his sweeping. Which was refreshing to see employees that care. They were very on... top of saying ?welcome in? right when customers arrived. High props to the management it seemed that everyone was staying busyand giving good customer service. The Katsu chicken was very fresh tasting and good. The portions were generous as well. If you haven?t had it, it?s definitely worth a try. Like most Hawaiian BBQ places they aim for good food and LOTS of it. And... they provide just that. The food is good, not great but the portion size is massive. Not saying it?s cheap, but a two or threemeat option is like two full meals. A good bang for the buck. Read more
I think this place is overrated and is mid at best. The meat is always fresh but just because you have mac salad doesn't mean... you're Hawaiian. They need to add more variety and more authentic dishes. Read more
Just okay. After 14 hours on the road we were really excited to find this place and hopeful for a delicious meal. The food... wasn't bad, but it was not very flavorful and I believed the reviews that said "big portions" for my big eaters. We scheduledfor a future time pick up, and when we got it the food was not hot. I'm pretty sure they dished it up when we ordered it and notjust before pick up time. I'm confused about all the raving reviews. I guess people in this area just like their food bland.Thank goodness I grabbed the sirracha packets. Better than McDonald's, but not what I was hoping for. I ordered a mini plate and drink! The two meats I chose were the Kalua Pig and Pulehu Chicken. It comes with macaroni salad and... rice. I loved the chicken and rice but I felt like the pig was too salty and I didn?t love the macaroni salad. Read more

We had a 3 meats plate for 2-sharing, with Bulehu chicken, chicken katsu and shrimp tempura. It came with a sizable portion of... white rice, macaroni salad and cabbage.
