I only eat hibachi, not a sushi person, so I can only confirm the hibachi is very good. The cooks are entertaining if you decide... to eat in. My last visit was a walk-in carryout order. I sat at the bar while I waited. It was just as delicious as dining in,and the quantity is equivalent...which is certainly enough for leftovers if you choose. If you're in the mood for Japanesewhile in the area, I would certainly suggest it. It's the only one in the area that I'm aware of, and it is as good as anyhibachi style restaurant I've been to. Literally waited over an hour for my food. Cockroach on the floor. No joke. A woman at another table ran and crushed it. No more... than five tables in the restaurant and my food took over an hour. Managed by a ton of gen Z children. I never complain aboutfood but after everyone at the table had ate their meal I asked the waiter about the wait time on my three rolls of sushi.Waiter said he would check on it, add another 20 minutes and it still hadn?t come. Asked for a discount on my meal, he gave me 6dollars off. Lol. Will never return. Read more

Tasty, fine example of the Hibachi steakhouse.

My family and I (we were a party of 11) just left this restaurant and I was so disappointed that I had to leave a review. This... was our first time here and I let our server know, but when I would ask questions about the food, she was impatient and rude.The hibachi chef was pleasant and the other staff were nice, but not our waitress at table #8. I had to order another dish withthe hostess and my dad had to get up and get someone else for a refill. This would?ve been tolerable if the 18% gratuitywouldn?t have been included. I?ve worked as a server and I know that when gratuity is included, you have to make sure you earnedit. Our server barely came to our table to check on us. Wasabi in Douglasville is much better in terms of service and food. Wepaid $243 for our meal at Sumo and it was NOT worth it. Read more

My husband and I have been coming here since 2008. We don?t go anywhere else. The staff is friendly. The chefs are entertaining... and you?re always guaranteed to have a great Hibachi experience. Miso soup is delicious. Customer service can be hit or miss. I really try to give this place chance after chance, because I... thoroughly enjoy the miso soup. But customer service is lacking whether on the phone or in person. Read more

After church dinner was on the way home. We looked for something we all would enjoy. This restaurant popped up in our search so... we chose to try it. We each had similar hibachi dinner choices.
