Amazing food! The corn is absolutely delicious! My husband and I had steak salad. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly. The... young man who served us was very nice, tentative, and did a great job. I very highly recommend! Probably the best place to eatin Villa Rica!! Their drinks and drink menu is awesome too! I will be back to try your bloody Mary! Read more

Omg the best steak I have had in years!! What a treat. The owner personally stays on the fire pit cooking the steaks and other... meats to perfection! Service was top notch. We came up from Panama City Beach Florida to have this dinner and I promise I willdo it again and again! The wait is definitely worth it. Such an amazing experience and I definitely recommend it to all. Read more

Fantastic food, great service are the 2 things that stand out about our visit to Brothers. I ordered the chopped steak which... had one of the best taste in a chop steak I believe I've ever had, TASTY! The girlfriend ordered the pulled pork sandwich whichhad a rich smokey flavor and a family member ordered the NY Strip which was phenomenal tasting. Also, do yourself a favor andtry the wood fired corn on the cob, truly a treat! The tea had a rich flavor to it and our glasses never ran dry. The only badthing, this place is slammed, we waited 50 min for a table around 7:30 pm, good for the owners though, hopping place withgreat food. It's a bit loud on the inside, so be prepared, yet Enjoy!! 2 thumbs up. Read more

In short: Brothers Bar & Steakhouse looks unassuming from the outside. Inside, it's not real fancy, but it's nice, comfortable... and quite friendly. The food was uniquely flavored and definitely worthwhile.  We had fantastic sevice! We drove 38 minutes toeat here and we'll do it again! I think they might do live music/karaoke too? Details: Food A variety of steaks offered atmarket price. Steaks are cooked over a real open wood-fire grille, giving them a unique "kissed by smoke" flavor, way cool. Theportions are generous. The quality of the food for its price makes it an excellent value. Not a huge menu, but the variety ismore than adequate, with a good selection of sides. Food we ate: Appetizer, southwestern egg rolls. Not true eggroll wrapper, but I thought they were super tasty! Will order again! Entrees, the big ribeye. The steak was larger (in area) than I expected.Appears hand cut, was not quite uniform in thickness, but despite this was cooked very nicely. The smoke from the Woodfiregrille lends a unique flavor, but I thought the steak could use more more seasoning. They say their ribeyes are prime, and thesteak was indeed tender. Honestly, it tasted similar to Rathbuns, but at a fraction of the price. A thicker, more consitent cut, peripheral trimming, and some more seasoning and this steak would be "untouchable." Don't get me wrong, I'll be back! The bakedpotatoes were nice size! The French fries perfect doneness/crispness. The kids had filet bites (the trimmings of the tenderloin)and wow, those were amazing! Will definitely try a filet in the future. My wife had baby back ribs, a thick meaty portion andshe liked them, but I cook a lot of ribs myself, so...they're pretty decent. The side salads were also pretty good, on par withmost places. Service. I normally don't comment about service, but ALL of our service was exceptional, beginning with the host. Then, Josh (our server) was on point, prompt, excellent attitude, very polite, not overbearing. First impressions of this steakhouse were not good to begin with, they sat us on the enclosed patio where they were... smoking...strike 1. The place is so small and they had what sounded like a jazz band (they were good) playing and it was way toloud. People screaming over each other just to hear or have a conversation. They moved us to inside the building but with no airconditioning going, the patio door wide open and fans blowing every which way they filtered all the cigarette smoke and smellinto the restaurant.....GROSS! I felt like I was smoking one with them. The people eventually left the patio but the smell wasalready there. Now, the food sort of made up for the nasty cigarette smell and the general loudness of the bar, yes it is asteakhouse bar! I had the Chop House hamburger steak and it was good, could have used a touch more seasoning, I also had abaked potato which was nice and hot and good and a side salad. My husband had the same thing. I had my gravy on the side and Imglad I did because it was kind of funky. It was very thick, salty and just tasted weird, it wasnt for me. My father must haveliked it because it was covering everything. My mom had The Dipper and she said it was very good and had a lot of flavor. Mybrother had the steak and cheese and he said it was very good. All in all the 3 stars I gave this place was what I felt theydeserved because of the smoke and loudness. But what I was mainly concerned about was that there were children in this bar thatsmelled like cigarettes. After all is said and done the ultimate question would be would I go back and the answer to that wouldprobably be a hard NO! The cigarette smoke did it for me. Read more

I was in Villa Rica for two nights. I was looking for a place close to the hotel to walk and get some dinner. I found Brother's... on Google. I ate at Brother's both nights. The ribeye I had the first night was tender, flavorful and cooked perfectly. It wasthe best steak I have had at a restaurant. Period. The second night (because the first night's meal was so good) I went backand ordered the pork chops. They too were cooked perfectly, and had excellent flavor! The side dishes were great both nights. You must get the green beans and the Fire Corn! Lastly, but most importantly, I sat at the bar where I was welcomed by Donelle. Her attitude and service was impeccable. Did I mention, your food is cooked on a wood fired grill, located inside therestaurant where you can see your food being prepared. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed. Read more

Was passing through the area on the way from Huntsville, AL to Florida. Googled the old "nearby restaurants" bit, and everything... was a chain restaurant or a Mexican restaurant. Except for this place. The place had some great reviews, so we went. Thereviews were totally justified. I love cooking meat and fish (technically the same thing), and I'm probably way too picky. Thatsaid, the salmon I was served tonight was among the best I've ever had. Fries were quite good, and the gravy (which I ordered asan add-on for my fries) was superb. My wife said her ribeye was fantastic but needed a bit of salt. It looked perfect to myeyes. Service was excellent. Our server, John, was definitely on top of things. This will be our go-to restaurant every timewe're passing through this area. Highly, highly recommended. Read more
