After a short hunt for 3 restaurants in the area (2 of which are closed on Sundays), we stumbled into this charming restaurant. ... The owner-family/management team are lovely. When I walked in ahead of my party, the older gentleman at the front greeted meand knew I was lost. He was so personable that my group ended up eating at the restaurant. There were a few hiccups during theordering process (due to the menu system) but no actual problems. The wait staff are very attentive, and the management is veryhospitable. Everyone fully enjoyed their meals. The restaurant is a great new gem in the neighborhood and city. Read more

First visit July 3rd at the suggestion of a new friend and man she nailed it! Very clean, good service and great food. She had... the Very Berry Pineapple Curry, I had Shrimp Chow Mein and I wanted to lick the plate when I was done! I'll definitely be backa few more times to explore the menu. Read more

I was visiting my son in LA so I tagged along with him and his two roommates. Thai was the answer! This unassuming restaurant... is in an alcove in a strip mall. The Thursday night we were there, the owner was celebrating a birthday and the year anniversaryof opening. Balloons floated above the chairs, tied by strings. There was one solo diner and our table of four. The owner had ahandful of friends joining him in his celebration, complete with a talented, albeit loud, alto saxophone player. Freeentertainment! It was heart warming witnessing their enjoyment. Our waiter, Kevin...He was EVERYTHING!! He was pleasant, efficient, friendly and chatty. We talked and laughed about silly life stuff. Kevin runs a knife shop across the walk way. Whata pleasure and a genuine asset to Giti Thai, in whatever capacity. The food....I ordered the Pineapple Rice. I was afraid toorder the spicy spicy and I regret it. While the dish was tasty, there was literally zero bite to it. That being said, I woulddefinitely recommend it, but ask for spicy if you want some zing. My son ordered the Pad Thai and was happy with his selection.Someone had the Drunken Noodles and larger than expected bowls of soup were ordered. No complaints and we all went home withto-go containers. It was a lovely evening and I hope this restaurant makes it through all this covid mess, especially when itappears they opened in the middle of it all! Give it a try!! Read more

I LOVE Tom Yum soup. So I ordered Tom Yum with Shrimp. With that said, DO NOT order the Tom Yum soup--you'll receive an... over-priced tomato soup. No flavor! The base of the soup is oddly sweet--not sour, not even sweet and sour. Not kidding. Ireceived a lot of half sliced baby tomatoes in there too. BABY TOMATOES! What? Plenty of Bella mushrooms! BELLA MUSHROOMS! Que?And some bamboo shoots. The quantity of shrimp was good--but that was the only good thing about this soup. I'm eating this soupnow--sad. I paid $21 for this soup and a side of steamed white rice--mad. Pleasee improve the recipe and ingredients you use orremove it from the menu. Read more

The pad... wood sen, drunken noodle, pad Thai, tom yum, tom kha, coconut shrimp, Kev?s shrimp rolls, papaya salad, crying tiger, and themango sticky rice were all delicious, and the staff and owners very friendly. Cant wait to come back for more! Read more
