Excellent service; food is much better than you would expect from a hotel restaurant. A bit overpriced but so is all of Tysons.
Shutters is a typical hotel restaurant that seems to be plagued with really bad reviews from a long time ago. The bad reviews... swayed me away, but I?m glad I ate breakfast and dinner here on Aug 21, 2018. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wideselection for good food. They have an omelet station manned by and excellent & friendly cook. The omlett was excellent and sowas the bacon. The only negative was that the buffet was $22!!! Big surprise and quite expensive. Dinner was also excellent. Iordered the Shea martini (Shea is a hotel manager who helped me out) and it was delicious, prime rib panini ($18), and applecobbler ($7). All excellent choices and reasonably priced. Anyway, this restaurant is worth checking out and I believe theproblems are likely a thing of the past. Read more
On the menu, they say Fresh Orange Juice. You may believe this means freshly squeezed orange juice. It is not. It?s clearly... Tropicana or something out of a box. The breakfast potatoes at the buffet were so unbelievably salty, I thought they killed mytaste buds. All this can be yours for $20 a person! Read more
