This place is a nightmare!, the restaurant is covered mold !! Is completely unacceptable and totally unsanitary. Dishes dirty... cups and tables!! The service is horrendous just as much as the taste of what they have the nerve to calling food. I havesummited a report to the food and health administration of Fairfax county with the hope that this place don?t give any morepeople food poisoning like the one I had ! This is very sad, how that places now in days have the nerve of having a restaurantoperating on this disgusting conditions?. Read more

The restaurant is not very clean. The table and glasses were dirty and there was a hair on the sauce that they brought to the... table for the crab ragoons. Only upside is the duck was pretty good. Definitely won?t be visiting again. Read more

I ordered Orange Chicken, a dish I thought won't go wrong but it was not good at all! I disliked the dish in it's entirety. It... was full of brown sauce and no taste of orange or any flavor at all! Service was nice and humble. Read more

Not friendly at all. Looked as if they couldnt wait for us to leave Kept asking if we were done. Pork chips really dry no sauce... at all Even some plastic inside. The food tasted old and dried out. The owner said that is how it was supposed to be.Really? When asked for some sauce to make the food less dry we got warm soy sauce. Upon leaving the owner demanded a bigger tip. Read more

I frequently eat at Peking Gourmet Inn, but realistically if you don?t care about the quality of service or the establishment,... then this place is absolutely worth it. A duck is 40 dollars compared to 80 dollars at Peking Gourmet Inn. The restaurantatmosphere is that of a take out Chinese restaurant ran by mom and pop, and this an enjoyable experience unless you wantsomething aesthetically high quality. Very good hole in the wall in Tyson?s and way more affordable for peking duck in thearea. The peking duck itself is very tasty and the skin is crispy. Now the condiments are traditional (pancakes, sauce, etc)but today they did not have cucumbers. Not sure if this is a one time thing or a permanent thing, but although it hardly tookaway from the experience, it would be nice to have what?s expected with a peking duck order. I figure the drinks are limited, but I only had water and hot tea. After enjoying your meal, they offer if you want the bones to take home (to cook broth orwhatever else). I haven?t tried take out or the other dishes here. However, if you ever crave Peking Duck, want to save money, and don?t care about aesthetics of where you eat, you must come here. Read more

Oct 2021 I was looking for some cheaper Peking duck and came across this place. I've only had Peking duck in this area at Peking... Gourmet Inn, and while they have good duck, it's VERY expensive. While they do have online ordering, I called in to order sinceI wasn't sure if they included the duck bones. The guy assured me the duck bones are always included. Though I'm not sure ifthey automatically include it for all Peking duck orders or just whole Peking duck orders (I got a whole duck). It was a typicalChinese restaurant call-in experience, though the guy did ask for my name to put on the order (usually they don't). Therestaurant was smaller than I expected, and decently lit. Pickup orders were behind the back counter. The guy behind the counter(same guy that was on the phone) was friendly and efficient in ringing up orders. All the staff were wearing masks, and therewas no barrier at the counter. My order of whole Peking duck came with one fortune cookie, 12 pancakes, shredded spring onion, plum sauce, the duck bones, and two containers of meat, skin, thighs, and wings. The skin is placed on top of the meat, separated by a small piece of foil. Sadly, the skin was not very crispy by the time I got home (45 min drive), but still yummy. They also don't scrape off as much fat as Peking Gourmet. There was a good amount of meat and sauce, but I think there couldhave been more spring onion. In all, a very delicious Peking duck, and cheaper than Peking Gourmet. Read more
