The Fruits of Vienna was a wonderful place to stay. We were in the area for Barbecue School and we?re very fortunate to find... this inn. Els, the owner, is incredibly accommodating, friendly, and very hands on, besides being a wonderful chef. Breakfastswere delicious, with lots of fresh options. Rooms are clean, spacious, and well appointed. The building is architecturallyfascinating and lovingly renovated, with thirteen foot ceilings and period piece furniture. A wonderful experience, made evenbetter by Els charming manner and attention to detail! Read more

The courtesy of the hosts and uniqueness of the property. There is more work in progress from the multi-national European couple... who acquired the property, but all the finished bedrooms and main gathering and dining rooms downstairs are very nice witheclectic, interesting decor touches but with an overall Louis 15th French style. Each bedroom and its art are different. Els,the manager, hostess, cook and most everything else is accommodating with any request, including customizing preparation ofbreakfast eggs. She also has homemade pastry skills you will enjoy. I enjoyed convivial conversation on a range of topics withthe owners, with their international perspective, and with other guests at both breakfast and main sitting area in theevenings. The morning French press coffee is outstanding. It tasted great and was a nice surprise from generic capsule typecoffee you get at many hotels. Els bailed me out when I rode off with friends I was traveling with when she found my keys Ileft in my room after check-out. She arranged to have them delivered to me at a cooking class about 16 miles away. Read more

A perfect halfway stopping point between FL and NC (and is Dog Friendly!). I found Fruits of Vienna B&B about 4 years ago and... it is my 'go to' since I cannot drive straight through (10+ hours). Els is a lovely hostess and has a really yummy homemadebreakfast. She will even provide dinner for you (for an additional charge) which I always take her up (after driving 6hours) Highly recommend Read more

What a wonderful experience! I really enjoyed my overnight stay here. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. I am Gluten... Free and Dairy Free and she gladly accommodated the allergies. She provided fruit and pecans that were fresh from her yard andserved it with gluten free bread, granola and dairy free milk as well. The eggs were cooked perfectly and there was a lovelyEuropean flair across the board! At the end of our stay there, she gave us some cooking pears from her yard as a gift! Thebuilding itself was built in the early 1900?s and was beautifully furnished with antiques straight from Belgium. It wasdefinitely a very cool experience. If you are ever visiting Georgia, you absolutely need to stay at this B&B. Read more

We were looking to break a journey from Southwest Florida to North Carolina but didn?t want to stop at a large, impersonal motel... chain. With help from the web, we chose to stay a couple of nights at Fruits of Vienna and to make a little side trip. Thestellar reviews are well merited, the house is delightful, intriguingly furnished, and we had a very warm and hospitable welcomefrom Els. She recommended a visit to the Georgia Rural Telephone Museum in Leslie, which turned out to be a true hidden gem.Altogether a great experience. Read more
