Strange hours at this place, but anywhere you can get midnight waffles is good for me.
I got 2 waffles. They weren't very good. I was thinking of giving you a 3, but if I'm being honest it's a 2. The waffles weren't... crispy, they were soft, the salsa was watery, the chicken was very processed, there was only one tiny sprinkle of parm when itwas supposed to be a chicken parm, there wasn't enough bacon in the waffle batter, I would've preferred bacon on top instead.Great business idea, not implemented properly, I'm impressed you're open until 4 am but that isn't going to give you a higherrating. My husband, son and I, ate at WestCoast Waffles and were delighted with the waffles. Hubby ordered The Canadian, and was pleased... that it wasn't too sweet, it had generous portions of fresh strawberries and real whipped cream and the hint of cinnamon andreal maple syrup were the perfect match. I had a 'pick your own combination' of bananas, fresh blueberries, generous helpings ofreal whipped cream and real maple syrup and it was delicious. My son had a sweet choice of the Oreo Waffle, complete withcrumbled Oreo cookies, chocolate syrup and whipped cream. The waffles were made fresh to order and were light and not too sweetand the servings of toppings were fresh and generous. The service was also friendly, and efficient. We stopped for a quick biteat this little restaurant and couldn't stop raving about how fresh and tasty it was. Next time, I will go for one of thesavoury options. Overall, a great option for breakfast, lunch or tea time in downtown Victoria. Read more
