Delicious food with friendly & prompt service. All we wanted was a pub meal and a drink to enjoy this late fall evening. Arrived... unannounced and got a table immediately. We got a great table outside and delicious tasting food! Burger and Fish Tacos weredelicious and the best Yam fries. Read more

Great patio with afternoon sun on an October day. We noticed that heaters were available for evening dining. Good friendly... helpful service. We had fish tacos and wings, both were tasty. The quiet and polite little restaurant dog, Lincoln, tours thetables to keep everyone amused. Read more

We discovered this place by accident, are damn glad we did. Tug is a hidden gem of the highest order.... Amazing, creative... cocktails, delicious nibbles, a fun and funky atmosphere, and a massive waterfront patio that manages to feel intimate. Highlyrecommend some 'tea time' here! Can't wait to return. Read more

I'm absolutely guilty I've forgotten the lovely servers' name. Went this Saturday night with my husband. Was surprised to see it... wasn't crazy busy, but maybe because the location was a bit closer to the water, and a bit further away from the main action. Itwas nice for us; we were seated promptly. First impressions: I love plants, and this place has a lovely collection, as well asa wall of tropicals that adds a comfortable vibe for me. The space was wide- wish I came in the day time, the large windows andpatio would have been nice to see. Smaller menu, but... it is delicious. I'd rather have a smaller menu and be guaranteed it'sgood than try to cater to many tastes. Husband and I split the Artichoke Spinach dip- it is SO GOOD, I'm definitely coming backfor more. I'm not even supposed to LIKE artichokes. I ordered the Chicken burger for my main- It has a spicy Mayo sauce, but nottoo spicy for me. It just adds a slight kick. Hubby ordered the one piece fish and chips, however two pieces is an option. Theprices are good for what you get, it was $18.50 for the burger and fries. We didn't order dessert, we were so stuffed. I wouldcome back again for sure, to at least hunt down that dip, and try their prawn pasta. Read more

Our daughter recommended this place to us and we are so happy we took her advise and tried it. We took her on a Thursday for... dinner and were super impressed… with EVERYTHING! The staff are the perfect mix of keeping you served but leaving you alone tovisit. There was a live singer/guitar player who set up close to us and I was worried he was going to drown out theconversation, but that didn’t happen. He sure could carry a tune, and was the perfect volume for dinner music. His set listswere familiar songs that were entertaining and toe tapping. I think the server said he plays for a couple of hours around dinnertime on THURSDAYS only. (Candid pic of musician added so you can see how close we were to him). Speaking of dinner… the menuhad so many great choices - we sampled a few and everything was great. Pictured is my Caesar, the halloumi fries appy that weshared before our entrees, lettuce wraps and key lime pie. I will add also, that the bar team have come up with a great array ofcocktails. I tried the aperol spritz only because I was guaranteed that it would be better than any I have had in Italy… andthey were right. Whodathunked! Tip: If you’re thinking of trying Tug Eatery, go on a Thursday if you want to hear a littlelive music with your meal. You’ll probably see us there ;). In our travels around the globe we have often found a ‘localspot’ to eat and listen to live music, but this is the first we’ve found somewhere that fits our vibe in our home town. We’re looking forward to next summer when the patio is open. It looks like it would be a super place to sit and watch theharbour life. Read more

Kimchi fried rice is the best, bean taco comes second, and they all can be made vegan!!Also there are specials every week outside the menu! Look on the board!! Read more
