Walked in and asked for cloth to clean our own table to sit at. Asked about the Canadian whiskeys and server had no knowledge so... just brought us a menu. Asked about a specific Canadian whiskey and server just said they were pretty sure it was Canadian.Server seemed bored or uninterested. Had to go to the bar twice for service. Good selection. The atmosphere and drink selection is great but things have gone downhill lately. I am writing specifically because of multiple... bad experiences with a bartender named Kenny, who spends more time flirting with coworkers than serving people. Kenny neverlooks at customers to see if they need to order anything more. It's a regular thing to wait 30-40 minutes for a bill or checkupfrom Kenny. It's like being in purgatory because even if you have to pay and leave, he will make it impossible to do so. I'venever had such bad service at a bar. Is the owner trying to lose money by keeping this person on staff? Kenny, you're clearlynot passionate about this or where you're at, is this the career for you? It's only a matter of time before they catch on andyou have to get another job, I've heard similar stories from my pals. You may be putting in the bare minimum amount of work butwhy not aim for average? I know average is within your reach, even if it'll be a little hard for ya. Something to think about. Read more
One of my favourite stops in Victoria. So good we came back. Loved the craft beers and both times I had attentive and... informative servers who seemed to know a tonne about craft beers and made excellent recommendations both on beer and local spotsto check out. Blue Moon wings were a really good flavour and their beer selection is unmatched. Read more
Stopped in for drinks, enjoyed the atmosphere, service was great. Wide variety of drinks on tap and mixes. Scotch options were... decent. Price point was a bit high, but the experience and drinks were good enough to say I'll be going back. On the loud side,so if loud DJ music is not your thing. Music was mood setting for sure Read more
I was served two beers, I acted that I wasn't happy. The bartender (Kenny) acknowledged me both times asking if I was happy. I... told him he had served me the wrong beers both times. He continued to be pleasant and courteous which is exactly what I wouldexpected. So impressed with the service! Read more
The Churchill is a pretty neat pub right attached to the hotel that we were staying at. There is a good selection of drinks;... and, we certainly tried a few. The bartender was very nice; and, she took the time to chit-chat with us and come up withrecommendations that we all enjoyed. Read more

Visited when our cruise ship was in Vancouver BC. I had a really nice IPA from Driftwood brewery. The bartender was very... pleasant and helpful in getting what we wanted. My wife had a very nice pale ale,also from Driftwood brewing. The pub had anextensive number of beers on tap. The Çhurchill has loads of character we really enjoyed. Read more
